No I absolutely would not try it especially if you intend to be noise free. Because you'd be constantly repositioning the arm to get the height right at that weight . I went through this with my galaxy s22 it works great but I found myself having to tighten the mount up rather high initially. Because when I released my grip after tightening the phones weight would pull the mount down a bit and out of frame from what I was filming. Therefore I just positioned it slightly above my target and when it's said and done it'd drop to the intended height. Lol but 4lb is quite hefty for this rig

Can I connect 2 of these together?

It would depend how you want to connect them I suppose. For example, you could absolutely clamp one to the neck of another, so in that sence, YES. If you want to thread one into another however you'd have to take off the jaws/clamp end (it can unscrew) and get a coupler that would couple a male-to-male.
