Fun!
Our street typically gets over 500 trick or treaters, and we decorate our house with a spider theme. This year's addition was the jumping spider. It was pretty entertaining to see the hilarious expressions on the kid's (and parent's) faces when it jumped and screamed at them. It retreats pretty quickly, so they got a good laugh too. It did seem to have a mind of its own. Several groups of kids tried to make it jump without luck. Then, just when we thought the batteries had gone, it would start leaping again.

ZERO STARS
This was a complete waste of money. It does not come with any power source. It says on the box, BOUGHT SEPERATELY... the batteries (which isn't unusual), the POWER CORD, AND THE BOX THE BATTERIES GO IN!! We are expecting about 800 kids tomorrow for our haunted trail, but wasted 70$ on something that can't be used. I called Amazon and they offered me 50% of purchase price... well that's not going to work, I'm going to need 100% of the purchase price refunded. Do not buy if you expect it to already have a power source. And I found out today that a 6V 2A cord is extremely hard to find. They don't make them that small anymore.

User Friendly - Worth it in my Opinion
I've had this item for about two years now, and I've been happy with it for the most part.Pros:- Super easy to set up.- Super easy to operate.- The design isn't cheesy like some cheap Halloween decorations/animatronics tend to be. It's a cool looking hairy spider.- It hasn't failed to work flawlessly since I got it two years ago.- Most of it is plastic but it feels stable enough and fairly okay quality.Cons:- The webbing is a little annoying to set up and, especially if you're using this product outside, attracts a lot of things. I've gotten twigs, grass, and dirt stuck in the web almost every time I use this product for Halloween.- The sound output isn't very good, but to be expected.- The sound sensor isn't great if you're using the product as an "outdoor scare." I HIGHLY recommend using a Step Pad Animatronic Activator if possible in your use case.- For what it is, the $69.99 price tag is a little much, but if you could snag this product for $50 on a sale I think it is well worth it.Overall, this product is a good cheaper alternative to some of the other Halloween animatronics on the market and very beginner friendly. The size is perfect in my opinion, not too big to be a hassle to store and setup, but not so small that it can't be used as one of your main Halloween decorations.

Trick and Treat Birthday
The media could not be loaded. I love it. I bought it for my son’s birthday surprise. Since we’re dealing with COVID-19 her can’t have a party and we choose not to eat out so I thought I’d make his day a memorable one. And he hates spiders. Plus I filled his bathroom with balloons and hide his present behind them but he had to get pass the spider first. I took it to work for Halloween and it scared people walking in the door when they came up to the security desk. Lol

Needs to be powered on to set it into it's lower position
Pretty awesome animatronic. I was a bit confused why it wouldn't set into it's downward position. Once I powered it on, it automatically sets itself down. So be warned not to force it into position. I love that it's a/c powered or optional battery powered. I have a lot of animatronics for halloween and having this option will help free up power plugs.

Sensor doesn't see you in dusk
The sensor doesn't see you unless the spider is placed in a well-lit environment, but what's the point then? Also it makes soft move before actual jump and making noise, so you first see the move and then it jumps and screeches.
