Worked great for new toilet

I needed this hose for my RV: transitions from 1/2" MIP brass fitting on the end of pex to a 1/2" MIP plastic stub on the water spray port for exterior. Could not find such a hose at any hardware or plumbing store! I took a chance and ordered this because it looked like it might work. I was irritated this post does not say what size fitting it has, so here you go in case you are wondering: 1/2" FIP on both ends. One end has the hand screw fitting (which would go on the plastic stub) and the other with standard 1/2" FIP brass fitting. This is a Brass Craft hose and very similar to what I could find at Home Depot online, Model #V8-20A F, but it has a two week delivery window or is special order.

I got this to hook up my new Dometic 320 toilet in my 2000 Jayco. It was a perfect fit to the existing water line and the Dometic toilet.Threaded together easily. No leaks even without tape.

Note how deep the toilet side of this thing is. If you are replacing or need an extension hose because you installed a new toilet and the stock hose doesn't quite reach, buy this product. It will save you headaches. There is just something about OEM as opposed to mass produced products from elsewhere. Peace out.

If I would have had the right sizing it would have worked great.

Great product but I returned it because when changing from a Thetford magic 4 to a 5, u can use a 2 1/2 inch sprinkler riser from Lowes or similar, place from the sprinkler section for 50 cents. The Thetford 5 says 17 inch tall but it’s actually 19 that’s why your existing hose is to short.

We bought this hose to extend our waterline in our RV bathroom for our toilet. We installed a platform for the toilet, but the waterline would not reach and this was a quick and easy solution without a trip to the hardware store or extra tools.
