IberiaTurbinado Pure Cane Raw Sugar 2lb. + Iberia Panela Prepartida, 32 Ounce

This is the only sugar I use these days as it lends an extra level of flavor to anything, even when I use a tiny amount.I also like using it as a finishing, sprinkle on tempered chocolate bars, those that I create in my own kitchen. It adds a lovely, sweet crunch.I find an interesting that a teaspoon of sugar, which can change the taste of anything pretty significantly, only has 16 calories. Unless you’re eating a ton of sugar, I think it’s far healthier than sugar substitutes of any kind.

I love Turbinado Sugar, and sometime my grocery store is out. This is the same price and it is delivered. I can put the on the reoccurring order with my New Orleans Coffee, I am so happy :)

To me, most brown sugar that I've ever bought tastes about the same. The difference, to me, is the condition of the brown sugar. This brown sugar appears to be very fresh. There aren't hard lumps in it. The flavor is fine. I would prefer that the sugar be ground a little finer. It's a little bit coarse, but that's not really a problem. I mostly use it in coffee where it's going to dissolve anyway.One irritation I've had with this sugar is the "resealable bag". The bag would not really reseal, but this is a very common problem. So I used a Ziploc bag (these are excellent sealable bags!) to store the rest of the sugar that I hadn't put into another container yet. Ziploc bags work beautifully and easily for sealing.So, my conclusion is that this sugar is fine, but the bag needs to be improved.
