How do you clean the insides of these gloves, they start to smell pretty quickly?

With much difficulty I reverse the gloves so the inside is out wash with warm soapy water. Let the air dry hanging on my deck railing. Then reverse the process. It's tedious at best. My hands sweat when using them. Like a water faucet the amount of sweat that flows out. I tried a pair of Playtex dish gloves as a liner. This worked for me. There is only sweat inside the Playtex gloves now.. good luck

Is the sleeve portion of the glove vinyl?

It's a material you would make a waterproof rain jacket. Vinyl possibly or some synthetic like vinyl or pvc. There is no tag inside the glove indicating what the materials are. It appears to be glued to the glove portion. It is a durable fabric. I use only for gardening purposes to protect my upper arms from poison ivy and such. The entire glove covers and over my biceps, I do have short arms. For my purposes this has worked out great for me. The only drawback is if you use them in hot weather, your hands will sweat profusely soaking the glove portion. It is difficult to reverse the inner side out so you can give it a good wash and dry. I have found to mitigate this I wear a pair of Dish gloves as a liner and so the glove is not soaked with sweat just the dish gloves. Durability for my purposes is great.

Does this fit small hands? i usually wear gloves that are xs to s as a male

They are massive. I wear a pair of dishwashing gloves underneath because my hands sweat so much when gardening. I use them when the Poison Ivy season is in full force. They work well, but if you have small hands, you will have lots of extra room inside. The glove material makes it difficult for fine motor issues like picking up small objects.
