Insufficient documentation
This thing works well enough, sounds good enough, and its battery life is surprisingly long. A slight flaw is that the ear and mouthpiece forms are reversed from the classic Western Electric design. The supplied "manual", however, is woefully inadequate. What little information is supplied is all but unintelligible due to its horrid English grammar. After experimenting and searching the net I wrote the following. The NFXSL Bluetooth Telephone HandsetThe NFXSL Bluetooth Telephone Handset (NFXSL) is intended to enhance the use of mobile telephones such as the Apple iPhone. The NFXSL is similar in form to the handsets of the classic Western Electric Model 500 series of telephones that some may find more comfortable to hold to their ears than mobile telephones. The NFXSL provides these features.• Speaker/receiver• Microphone/transmitter• Function switch• Status lamp• Volume Control switches• Micro-B USB connector• Internal batteryThe remainder of this document contains instructions specific to the Apple iPhone (phone). Adjust as required to suit other manufacturers’ mobile telephones.Power SupplyThe internal battery requires occasional recharging which is accomplished by connecting the Micro-B USB connector to a power source via a USB cable. The battery must be charged for no less than four hours before first use. Subsequent recharging requires about one hour. The NFXSL assumes the power off state any time that power is applied to the USB connector. The Function Switch and Status LampThe Function switch is a momentary pushbutton switch that provides power ON/OFF and hook switch functions. The Status lamp can emit red and blue light to indicate the NFXSL’s state. To toggle power on and off, press and hold the Function switch until the phrases “Power On” or “Power Off” are emitted from the speaker/receiver (about two seconds). When power is turned on the NFXSL will attempt to pair with a phone via BlueTooth and the Status lamp will alternate between red and blue at a fast rate. Initial pairing requires acceptance using the phone’s Bluetooth section of its Settings app. When pairing is successful, the word “Connected” is emitted from the speaker/receiver and the Status lamp flashes blue for a short time every three seconds. If the connection is lost the initial pairing procedure may need to be repeated.Any time the NFXSL is powered on and a Bluetooth connection is established, all of the phone’s speaker and microphone functions except for sounding ringtones are overridden by the NFXSL’s receiver and transmitter. While power is on and no call is underway, short presses of the Function switch start and stop the phone’s music app, playing the most recently played selection. If playing when a call is established, the music app is stopped. While a call is underway, a short press of the Function switch terminates the call and resumes the music app’s playback, if it was previously playing. When power is turned off the Status lamp will light red for one second and then be extinguished. The Volume Control SwitchesWhile power is on, short presses of the Volume + and Volume - switches will increment and decrement the phone’s volume, respectively.Making Outgoing CallsTo make an outgoing call, first ensure that the NFXSL is powered on and a Bluetooth connection to the phone has been established. Then dial the call from the phone as one normally does. The most recent outgoing call can be redialed by double clicking (two short presses in rapid succession) the Function switch.Answering Incoming CallsThe NFXSL must be powered on and connected to the phone via Bluetooth before the phone receiving a call. Attempts to connect the NFXSL after the call’s ringtone sounds will result in dropped calls. A short press of the NFXSL’s function switch accepts an incoming call just as does accepting a call on the phone. Fun and functional
I just bought it as a gag but it works as advertised. I'm surprised at the sound quality. Great for the money.

Waste of money
Very first thing that broke right away after unpacking was the little light. Sound quality is really bad and a lot of static. It looks nice but it’s definitely not worth the money. I wish I could send it back but I no longer have the original packaging. All in all very disappointing.

Fun
Super fun, especially for the kids. Very light weight, though. Just like another review said the ear and mouth pices were backwards- yup! Concave part they have as the part you talk in to, rather than the place for your ear. And the convex part they have the ear portion. While weird, I haven't noticed any functionality conflictions? Still sits well on the shoulder like we're all used to doing. Lol overall not bad. Wish the quality was increased a bit, and the ear and mouth pieces were normal.

How fun~
Fun looking device. It's very light and toy like. Over-size makes you look even more dorky. But that's perfect for my use. I replaced our handhelds with these and the staff on the floor look like they are playing with a toy when answering the phone. Sound quality is surprisingly good, both speaker and mic. I gave it to the staff in charge of answering the phone with a question, "Do you mind looking dorky all day?" The teenager gave me a puzzling look. Then brightened up after seeing the phone. Not sure about the build quality though. I'll update if something happens. BTW, someone gave negative review regarding documentation or lack there off. You don't really need one. There's one function button for answer or hanging or long press to pair up. And volume up and down buttons on the side. I don't see why anyone would need an instruction for this. It's very straight forward.
