TerramarAdult Thermasilk Glove Liner

Got these for my 94 year old mom whose hands are frequently cold. She wears them indoors and they keep her warm and still allow her to use her hands.

I’ve always liked Terramar silk products for skiing and needed silk glove liners that were touchscreen capable. Although they never really tout that they are touchscreen capable, they are! probably due to the thinness of the silk. I am delighted. Also, true to size.

A great set of liners!The good:Add a lot of warmth. Helpful by themselves for people with Raynaud's or other profusion problems.Elastic cuffs, so they don't come off inadvertently.Comfortable.Some stretch (easy to get on and off).Work on touch pads and screens.Slick.The bad:Silk shows stains and is difficult to clean. The natural is worse than the black.Snag relatively easily.The ugly:Limited stretch (you need to hit the size).My hands fall between a small and a medium--yours may also.Silk liners tend to wear rapidly compared to other materials. I'll post information on durability when I've used them for awhile.Slick may not be suitable by themselves for some things (driving).If you only ever use these with outer gloves then I'd give then 5 stars;If you frequently use them by them selves than 4½ stars.

These were perfect! Super thin to fit in my winter gloves without making them overly tight. But warm and my hands were not cold at all in -15 degree F temps.

Always the first layer for outdoor winter chores.

Fell apart after first day using them snowboarding as inner liners. It looks like i got in a fight with a cat they are torn to pieces. I didnt even use the gloves for anything directly they were just inside my other gloves.2 stars cuz they do work well with my phone and are warmish. But they are one time use.

I was weightlifting in the cold garage all winter and it was hard to hold the metal, but I don't like most gloves for holding heavy weight. These were great at giving me a little bit of warmth, protecting me from the cold steel, and still giving me plenty of grip.They took a hard beating from the kerning on the bar, but not a single hole.

I bought these because it said they were very warm. I was skeptical and I should have trusted my gut. They are pointless and don't keep your hands warm at all.

I had a pair of silk gloves in the past and had them for years. They kept my hands warm and were made of good quality material. This pair (I ordered the white ones) didn't even compare. I could tell as soon as I took them out of the package that these gloves didn't even appear to be silk gloves. I tried them under my winter gloves for walking the dog. They did not keep my hands warm at all - the material reminded me of the cotton gloves that people sometimes wear to bed when they have special cream on their hands. I did like the fact that I could take off the outer layer of gloves quickly and the silk gloves would stay put. The wrist elastic was the best part of the glove. I should have ordered the black pair as they look more like the silk gloves I had for years.

I was looking for spun silk glove liner but this was the closest that I found. It fits and even quickly developed a yellow stain typical of spun silk base layers but I will always be wondering if spun silk wouldn't be better. It does make the gloves warmer but they're still gloves, your fingers will still get cold.

Such a simple layer, but boy does it make a difference!!! I've worn them inside two different types of mittens (down and fleece), and my hands were almost too warm during exertion. I've never had that! And if you need your fingers for something fiddly, you can easily pull the mitten off, and perform your task without your fingers getting cold. I will never go without this layer again!!! Would 100% order again!
