Not perfect
Maybe my high chair is just a little different but I was a little confused on how this worked at first. I couldn’t quite get it to get all around on the bottom but maybe I didn’t get it tight enough. The material is fine and cleans well for the most part. Now that I understand what the zippers for it is nice to still be able to suction your plate.Overall this does the job and keeps messes very minimal.

Great coverage, doesn’t work with all suction plates
This bib is huge and provides great coverage for your little one learning to eat. The zipper opens in such a way that it allows you to zip it around a bumkins plate or similar that has a separate suction cup on the bottom. This will not work with an ezpz mat or similar as the zip would need to be open way too much to fit the plate in.The drawstring is only on the bottom portion of the part that covers the tray. This allows you to unzip that whole portion and use this as just a long sleeve bib. I have a stokke Tripp trapp chair that we use just pulled up to the table without a tray so I just use the top portion of this without the elastic at my house, though we’ve used the tray portion at Mimi’s.The drawstring covers around our graco tray well. Food still manages to find its way under and around but it does keep my 6 month old relatively clean. Long sleeves are necessary in the beginning.I’ve washed my bumkins bibs 50+ times and they come out great. I usually air dry but occasionally miss one that takes a trip in the dryer and they all remain waterproof and stain resistant.

Bumkins Tray Bib
We used this tonight with our 11 month old grandson, who is self-feeding. I was very underwhelmed with this bib. I think the concept is great, but it just didn’t work great for us. We have a Graco high chair, which has a large tray, but it just seems like too much fabric. Maybe it would be better for an older, taller child. The bib does cover the entire tray, but it doesn’t fit over it tightly. If it did, maybe it wouldn’t seem like there is excess fabric. When I took my grandson out of his chair, there were peas, pasta, and meatball bits in both sides of the chair. Also, I think Velcro would be better to close it at the back of the neck instead of the tie. It was hard to tie it tight enough around his neck, for fear of getting it too tight, so the front of his shirt got very dirty. We’ll give this another try to be fair, but our first attempt was disappointing.

Really big
I was really surprised when I opened this up with how big it is. It’s almost has big as my 3 1/2 year old and it’s really wide. I use it for my baby whose 9 month and feeds himself and it looks like he’s swimming in it. The material is great as always per their products. I think this just doesn’t make things as easy as you’d want them to. My baby isn’t the biggest fan. He’s always trying to take it off his tray. It does keep the tray cleaner but I think this works best as just a bib or really big set smock for my toddler.

Perfect for quick clean up
This is an absolute must have if you have a little one. As we all know feeding time can be very very messy. This helps to make the cleanup quick and easy. It fits nice and snuggly around the baby but not too tight still allowing some looseness for him to move around. You can put it over a high chair or if you sit them on the floor or even the chair to feed him. Once you’re done feeding him you simply shake off the excess into the garbage iPersia and only wiped it really quickly just to get some of the bigger stains off and threw it in the wash. Upon washing it retained both its color and shape and was ready to go again.

Great concept
Maybe I’ll enjoy this more as my baby grows older but at 5 months it just feels like more of a hassle than letting him get messy and wiping him off. Babies arms need to go through the sleeves and then it ties at the back of the neck, ties under the high chair and has a drawstring under the high chair. Just a few minutes of effort that creates an issue when you have a hungry baby ready to eat.If we start enjoying this more as he gets older, I’ll update my review. I will say, I like the convenience of being able to toss this in the wash and I also love the vibrant, colorful pattern!

Great high chair cover and bib for those really messy eaters!
My child loves to make messes during feeding time. This bib goes over her ikea high chair well and you can pull the elastic cord to make sure it stays. It makes life much easier being able to just peel this off and rinse or toss it in the wash. The material is good quality and the ocean themed print is adorable. She wears a 2T now and there is room to grow.

Ok But Not My Favorite Bumkins Product
I have several other bumkins products that I adore but this one was a bit of a miss for me. As much as my baby loves to get food everywhere, this just felt very overkill. It kind of made my feel like I was forcing my baby to eat off of a tarp. Might be great for some families but I prefer the bumkins bibs without the entire tray cover.
