Good book for those moms that have kids going away to college

This is a great book for mothers who are launching their children. I wish I had read this before my first one left for college! I bought this as a gift for my sister who has a senior. It’s a great book for a group of moms who have seniors in high school.

This book was recommended to my wife so I bought it for her. It has been a huge blessing since we moved over 1200+ miles away from our daughters recently. She has recommended to several people since reading it.

I have been struggling with this since senior year began last year, bursting into tears at the goofiest things and realizing that I have to start REALLY letting go. Love the light-hearted approach to the biggest issues of a mama's (and dad's!) heart broached in this book and really appreciated the Christ-centered focus and understanding that none of us are alone in this -- He's got this! And while *I* don't have it totally yet (working on it), this book gave me valuable perspective so that my sadness over our first leaving the nest won't hamper the awesomeness that is a whole new chapter in all our lives.

This is helpful reading for parents who are getting ready to send their children (now adults) off to college.

I found this book several years ago, and have read it through at least twice myself. I recommend it highly to any mother facing an empty nest. So very very helpful. It’s very short book, brief chapters, nice pictures, with quotes that are meaningful, And areas for journaling. I’ve gone through it personally at least twice and used a different color pen each time. I do have two personal copies. I have recommended this book to many ladies and even purchased copies for other ladies. Well worth the money and great advice.

This book is BALM for my momma heart right now. Dropped my girl off at college two weeks ago and these scriptures and affirmations are just what I needed! Full of Jesus, the Bible, and personal experience/stories- lots of beautiful insights such as... before you as a mother/father/etc were loved for your DOING, you were valued and loved (by God) for BEING. ❤️

I was looking for just the right book to help me with the adjustment of my son going off to college. THIS IS IT!!!! I feel like every chapter is written just for me. It has been perfect & has helped me so much with the transition of my son being four hours away at college. I have recommended this book to every one of my friends that has a child going off to college. I am so thankful I found this resource!
