Bodum4559-10 PAVINA Double Walled Thermo Glasses, 0.35 L, 12 oz, Pair

I love these glasses. I've read some reviews that said that they were fragile, but I have not had any problems yet and I have bumped them on things pretty hard. I haven't dropped one yet, but they have stood up to a beating thus far. I have used a combination of hand washing and dishwasher and I have not had a problem with the seal on the bottom melting either. They look great and retain heat pretty well, but I can't really attest too much to that as I haven't let them sit out all that long to test heat retention. If nothing else, they look great and I usually get a comment or two by people who haven't seen them before which is always nice.

Makes you feel pretty fancy and they keep my coffee warmer for much much longer than any other mug I own. I’d say the same about all of our Bodum glasses.

I have had 2 of these glasses for some time now, as well as several other Bodum double-wall glasses. They are my favorite glasses because of their insulating properties which keep the drinks cooler longer and also prevent sweating on the exterior in high humidity.For me, they have been durable and useful. Unfortuntely, I did break one eventually - an event that can happen to anything made of glass. To get a replacement, and also to have extras, I ordered two 2-packs of these.Unfortunately, 1 of the 4 glasses arrived in totally shattered condition. The packaging was not too impressive - the 2-packs from Bodum had only slight cushioning inside, and the two 2-packs were shipped by the seller in a small cardboard box with no additional cushioning.Perhaps the glass was broken even before it reached the seller, or perhaps it broke enroute to me.I contemplated returning the box with the broken item, but Amazon said that they could not provide a replacement - only a refund - because this was from a partner and not Amazon itself. Not wanting to go through the hassle of packaging the thing up and taking it somewhere to be sent back to only get a few dollars of refund, I just kept it, thus getting 3 for the price of 4.The glasses are wonderful. The packaging and shipping are not. Just so you know.

The glasses are beautiful to look at and a pleasure to hold. There is no problem with condensation, even in the humid southern heat.Complaints about their fragility are a bit confusing. I would never dream of dropping ice cubes directly into nice crystal, and I would not drop ice cubes directly into these glasses either; they are not Wal-Mart tumblers, and should not be treated as such. That said, mine regularly go through the normal cycle in the dishwasher with no problems. I purchased them (8 in all) several months ago, have not lost even one due to breakage, and take great pleasure in using them.

I enjoy the visual aspect drinking from these.

The double wall keeps cold drinks coller and hot drinks hot longer. They look great, are confortable to hold and have been reasonable priced . . . at least up to now when the dramatic increase in their popularity has driven the prices up and made it difficult to find them in stock.

I like the look of the glass and the outside of the glass does remain cool to the touch. But I didn't find that it kept my coffee any hotter than a normal coffee cup would.

The double-walled glass of this mug makes for a beautiful view of tea infusing. Its form is simple and well-made.
