Can this be made waterproof?

It can be made water resistanct with jesmonite ac100 sealer (or possibly another type of sealer) but ultimately its a gypsum base and would need to be reapplied at intervals to protect it from weathering. Perhaps consider the ac730 for outdoor applications as its a portland cement based system and much more water resistant

Can I pour hot wax in a jesmonite pit to make a candle?

Its not something we've tried but we do ave customers pouring wax directly into jesmonite made items.

What is the curing time for this product? Does this cure clear?

Demoulding time is generally within 1/2 hours, once demoulded left on a drying rack to cure for 24hrs it will have reach the majority of its strength. Product cures to a white finish.
