At first the unit was great. Compact, sturdy, easy to use. But within 6 months I started noticing a burning smell and ultimately smoke.Contacted customer service, they were responsive and offered to send out a replacement motor. Got the parts and it took about 45 minutes to swap out.Tried the treadmill again and within less than 2 hours of use the motor started making the same burning smell and overheated the housing. Contacted customer service again and this time they sent replacement motor and board.Spent an hour swapping them out. And again within 30 minutes of use burning and smoke from the unit. (Horrible smelling by the way and took a couple weeks to get smell out of my rug)Contacted customer service again and they still won’t offer a refund or replacement unit… just parts. Directed me to Amazon, but of course at this point it’s been months and Amazon won’t offer a refund.A treadmill is a big purchase and something you expect to have for years. Sadly something that seemed so good at first flamed out so quickly and has turned out to be a big waste of money and my time trying to fix it.While Asuna’s customer service is friendly and responsive, the company ultimately seems to be ineffective. (If you’re reading this Asuna, please do the right thing here!!)

I bought this for under my standing desk now that I’m working from home so much and I love it. It’s heavy, but has wheels that go in four directions so it’s easy to move out of the way. Very sturdy and feels great.The remote will work, but it’s not preprogrammed. You need to hold down the minus button till the treadmill beeps twice to pair it. I don’t know why the manual doesn’t mention this.

I really like this treadmill, it has served its purpose pretty well for me. I did struggle to pair the remote at first but reading the other reviews on how other users troubleshot the issues was enough for me to get it to work.My only complaint is that after maybe 30 uses, there appears to be little pieces of the belt flaking off? It’s stuck on the bottom of my shoes and also when I’m done walking, there’s always a little pile of shredded belt pieces on the floor at the base of the treadmill.

The "non-functioning" remote is fixed by holding down the "-" button for a few seconds after turning the machine on to sync it to the machine.I'm happy with the unit. It's quiet and seems well made. No assembly required. Now, let's see if I actually use it on a daily basis while working...UPDATE: I weigh 214 lbs. The first unit I ordered developed a "creaking plastic" sound that would not resolve with troubleshooting. I returned for a new unit. The second unit started generating a burning rubber smell after a few weeks. The unit is now kaput. I'm returning it. Debating whether to get another one or just give up and order a more expensive treadmill.

You may notice a theme from other negative posts, but I had a similar experience. I have had this treadmill for over a week. I was excited to have something that could augment my work and exercise experience, but only disappointment has been delivered. I received the unit quickly, and it seems very well built, but the only way to use it is via a remote control unit. That remote control has done nothing. I called the Sunny support and I thought they were going to quickly fix the issue. The support line was quick to troubleshoot and raise the issue up to another level. Since, the first call and email, I have received no follow-up. I even called in, and explained the situation, to wit, the result was "escalation" which has never occurred. So, I have an expensive piece of non-function treadmill that I brought up three (3) floors. That was the only exercise I got out of the unit. I was hoping that Sunny Support would surprise me but after 6 emails over this past week, no response was given. I ask you NOT to purchase this product as their support cannot support anything.

Easy to assemble (plug it in!), can lift end and move around on wheels, not too heavy. Works Great, I love it!

It only works with a remote - the remotes have a known issue and do NOT work - basically, a HUGE TIME SUCK to wait to get it, then unpack and it does work, troubleshooting, customer service AMAZON STOP SELLING THIS TO PEOPLE!
