How Can I return this sofa

I wanted to return this sofa. Unfortunately I would have had to get approval from the furniture co. I was told I’d need to pay shipping and sometimes the product never reached their destination. If that happens I would not receive my credit. I was told this happens frequently. So, I sold it locally for less than half the price and purchased a different sofa.
