Use a hair dryer to help uncurl
We used these to run power to three foosball tables in our game room. They adhere to the floor nicely. I was nervous about using the provided double stick tape on our brand new laminate flooring. But I tested it in a small area and it seemed like it would come off easily if we ever needed to remove it. I feel like there was not enough tape provided for the length of the conduit. I do agree with other reviewer‘s comments that they curl up very easily. Upon receiving this product I took it out of the box and unrolled it and placed it next to our baseboard heat for about two weeks. It’s still remained quite curled. As others suggested I used a hairdryer to soften the material prior to adhering to our flooring and that did the trick!

Good for covering wires
Good for covering wires that run across floor. Ours is covering 2 bradied HDMI wires. We did not use tape to secure. Easy to move and roll up to hide under couch when not using.

Good for running cords under rugs
I had to get an extension cord to the other side of an area rug. This product safely does so, preventing the cord from fraying and becoming a fire hazard. Others have commented on the inability to straighten the cover, and the need to have additional tape. While I didn't use any tape I can say that by tightly winding the cover double reverse from how it came (i.e. starting at the curled end and with the bottom side up) and then leaving it like that for a day I was able to get all but the last 6 or so inches flat. I then cut that last section off and voila! Specific to use under rugs, while it solves the problem it is not perfect as it causes a hump in the rug that we managed with a coffee table and end table.

Still not sure about this product.
I had to go buy extra 2 sided tape as there was not enough included to stick both sides of product to floor.Adhesion was not easy even though I rolled it out on floor and used books to weigh it down to straighten it before I attempted to adhere it to the floor. I have books on it even now to be sure it is stuck before putting books back on shelfLooks like I am going to have dirt collection along edges due to not sticking well

Excellent Raceway for My Office
I converted my second bedroom to an office and needed the shortest distance from my router to my second computer and printer using Ethernet cabling over my carpet. The 10 foot raceway was the same color as my carpet and I could add three Ethernet and one telephone cables from one side to the other of my office instead of trying to run the cables underneath the carpet. This was an ideal solution, so happy with the results!

Bulky and they stick out - which would be fine if they actually stayed flat
These things may work with more effort on preparation - I'll make that caveat. However, these are the issues I have with the product.1. They come very tightly coiled so when you cut them and try to lay them flat, they are always trying to coil back up, which pulls at the double sided tape it comes with.2. The double sided tape is not strong enough to hold them down, at least on vinyl flooring3. Because they are so big and grey, they really stand out. I'm not sure why they are not wood colored. Does anybody have grey floors? Edit: Looks like they come in multiple colors now4. Because they don't lay flat, you end up tripping on them sometimes. Hey, at least the cord is protected though.5. The cord doesn't even stay in the sleeve very well, because the gap is straight down the middle, so the cord is supposed to hide in one of the two sides I guess? Terrible design.Edit: Lowering the rating to a 1 because I finally pulled them up to see if I could fix them, and the tape has become a total mess. Apparently it was strong enough to stick to the floor, but not the covers. So the tape is all puffed out and expanded and really hard to get off my vinyl floors. Ugh. What a headache.
