I have an Amazon Basics document shredder that is now 10 years old and still going strong, so when I decided I wanted an oscillating tower fan for my living room, I decided to get another Amazon Basics. I think it was the right choice.I live in a 900 sq ft 1981 single wide trailer with a metal roof. Needless to say, it gets hot, and my central A/C can't always keep up. This fan is just enough that my A/C doesn't have to work quite as hard for quite as long to cool the house.My unit did not come with instructions either for the remote or for putting the base together, so that was annoying, but it's fine. I'll learn the controls by trial. It seems to have an outdoor setting, that I think is supposed to mimic the random wind patterns outside which is kinda cool, lol.Fan has plenty of power. My perfect setting seems to be a 2, but it goes all the way up to 4. That's enough to keep the air moving and get a slight breeze from the couch when I'm watching TV or playing video games.It weighs practically nothing. I thought I was going to struggle getting it up my porch steps after it was delivered but it had practically no weight to it even inside the box with all the packaging.The remote is great. I can control all of the fan's functions from my couch.Discreet and undiscerning, it fits right in with my furniture. I think I made the right choice.

This Fan is Great. No need for remotes and digital display just a Very Good and Quiet fan. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Moves enough air on low setting to allow window AC unit to cool the entire Arizona room my wife uses for quilting daily. I have order another one for my workshop. You won't be disappointed with this great little fan.

So far so good. Have used it for a couple of days now. My only issue is the remote you have to get it pointed to the top of the fan to work. And the times are not marked as to how much time. It says 1 to 15 hours in hour increments but not sure how that works. I did use the timer last night but not sure when it turned off. I used it to dry my carpets I shampooed. But good air quite taller than I realized but that’s still ok. My dogs love the added air

Powerful fan! I am using it in a bedroom 15 x 12 and it works great! Love the features: timer, airflow settings and oscillating feature. I’ve previously purchased Lasko brand and it is very comparable. Easy to assemble.

If I could give this 6 stars I would! Even at the lowest setting it’s COLD, mind you I get hot very easy. I was also iffy about the height but I am very pleased to see that it’s tall enough to cool the entire room. Still figuring out the settings but I absolutely love this fan!

I wanted it to work. I assembled it which was really quick and easy but when we plugged it in, it did not blow. It oscillated fine but was also a pretty flimsy product for the price. It just did not work so we sent it back for a refund and will try a different brand that is hopefully more sturdy, blows cool air the 1st time, and is reasonably priced to see if we have better luck. The reviews we read were also often not the same make/model that we recieved (nicer, more buttons & features).

Very easy to install, great air flow for my bedroom. I bought it because it gets warm upstairs during this time of the year and summer time. It works and it’s not too loud.

Ordered this on November 12, 2024. Today is April 18, 2025. This fan has worked great, it wasn't too loud and and made my room nice and cold, which is great because I'm a hot sleeper. Woke up today after having my fan on all night (like normal) and it was off. I thought I had turned it off in my sleep (would not be the first time) but I couldn't turn it back on with the remote. I thought the remote battery died but I couldn't turn it back on with the buttons on the fan either. Hopefully I can find a way to fix it, but if not, then be warned that the fan might just crap out on you too after 5 months.
