This was super easy to set up and it just works. I appreciate the smart switching it does which makes it easier for friends and kids to use. Just turn on a device and it automatically switches the input to that device. Definitely worth it for the price.

It’s a very nice hdmi switcher. For the money the value was there, it switches between devices very well, we have it for our consoles ( 2 PS4’s, a Switch and an Xbox ) that goes to our pc for the capture card. It’s a powered switcher which is what we needed as we had another that drew power from the HDMI which caused a few issues in transmitting signal or switching efficiently. Been happy with the item and haven’t had any complaints.

Great price. Unit functions well. Does the job, but - the remote is really bad. Buttons are impossible to feel. Depth of depression is almost non-existant. Really difficult to get it to function.

I am a freelance software tester, and use multiple OTTs daily. I bought this device so that I could plug the OTTs in and use the remote to switch between them, rather than plugging/unplugging them multiple times through out the day. I have had several issues. I have this device plugged into a 2yr old Samsung Smart TV 1. The description states that this unit supports XBox. It does NOT. When I tried to use it with XBox, it would never connect and the XBox overheated and cut off. 2. When switching between Apple 4k HD, FireTV Stick and Chromecast with Google TV, I always get the message to Check Device Power, even tho the power is on for all 3 of the devices. It seems to work best with the Chromecast OTT, every now and then I can switch to the FireTV OTT, and hardly EVER can I switch it over to the Apple TV OTT. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. This is going to be returned. 0 STARS

God damn, this is some good kit. Auto switches when it detects a device powering on. Doesn't matter what console I threw at it, it auto-switched every time.Actually outputs 4K when supported by the device, has no noticeable degredation. Just great. Would recommend.

Right from the get go I had problems with the first HDMI Switch they sent me so I had to have a replacement sent. Once I got the replacement having both here I took the items plugged into the first one and plugged them into the replacement HDMI 8 in 1 Out switch they sent me. Right away I noticed a difference and its been about a week already that I have had it. My previous ones problem had to do with the Remote not always getting the box to change the channel. My only disappointment now is that having a Amazon Fire Stick plugged into it if I switch to another channel to something else and then return to use the FireStick later when I switch back I have to restart my firestick in order to use it again. I have a 4K Firestick plugged into channel 8 being that is the first channel on the left side of the panel. if I go over to the right to channel 7 or 6 for instance to use one of those channels when I go back to channel 8 to my Firestick I need to restart the Firestick for it to work properly. This I have never seen before being I still own a different brand of a HDMI 5 in 1 Out Switch previously to this new HDMI 8 to 1 Out Switch. Not sure if this second one is a Defect or not now. ADD ON: I sent this Second one back also. It was too much of a Problem to have to restart my Firestick everytime I changed to a different channel on this 8x1 HDMI Switch. What I ended up doing was I ordered their 5x1 HDMI Switch and I am not having any problem with it so far. Would of been nice to have 8 outlets but 5 isn't so bad and at least when I switch channels on the 5x1 HDMI Switch when I go back to my Fire Stick I don't have to reset it. I think this 5x1 Switch is a keeper.
