Incredible character's, writing, story and sfx. Perfect.

This is a great little film.Poor Norman stands out as a one-of-a-kind oddball in school, and has almost no meaningful interaction with any living beings until another kid at school who's also been bullied teams up with him to help support him on the biggest adventure and challenge of their lives... revisiting the historical past as told by lots of the dead who come and talk to Norman once they understand he can see and hear and interact with them.It's a coming of age tale and a confidence buider, and genuinely entertaining (if a bit scary here and there, too!)Very enjoyable film!

I fell in love with this movie and my granddaughter hadn't seen it before so I ordered it and we watched he'd it together. She's now insisting I buy the DVD. Guess I will !

I recently watched the animated movie "ParaNorman" and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The characters are all well-developed and memorable, with each one bringing something unique to the story. The voice acting is also top-notch, with some truly fantastic performances from the entire cast.What I loved most about "ParaNorman" was its willingness to tackle some pretty heavy themes for a family-friendly animated movie. The movie explores themes of death, bullying, and the fear of the unknown in a way that is both relatable and impactful.Overall, I would highly recommend "ParaNorman" to anyone looking for a fun, spooky, and thought-provoking movie that is suitable for audiences of all ages. It's a visually stunning movie with great characters, a compelling story, and a powerful message that will stay with you long after the credits roll.

Fun film for all ages, PQ & AQ are exceptional

Very good movie it handles a serious subject with class. Best part is the 3D very good very cool.

I actually had tears in my eyes at the end. Norman is misunderstood at home and bullied at school, because he can see and speak with ghosts. His only friends are his ghostly grandmother and another boy, also bullied because he is fat. The story involves so-called witches who were executed unjustly 200 years earlier. One of them - a little girl - placed a curse on her judges. And now those judges have returned as zombies. The townsfolk think the zombies want to destroy the town, kill the people and eat them. So they try to destroy the zombies. Norman learns that the zombies only want his help. They too are misunderstood. How all of this is resolved makes for a sweet, sad story.

I saw this film in the theater on the premier night in 3-D. The 3D was amazing. Not gimmicky, not just thrown in as an excuse to charge more for admission. AMAZING. I wanted to wait until I actually owned the product which is the home video release before I review. Notice verified purchase. The menu is using Universal Studies generic menu which, I am not crazy about as I like a custom menu. That aside, the BD transfer quality is top notch. You could see all the details Laika studios pays attention too like the pattern in the concrete, and the clothing the characters wore. The video quality is comparable to the theater. I want to get a 3D tv so I can watch movies like this in 3D at home.StoryA kid from a small town with a dark history is a medium, he see's dead people. He is also weird and misunderstood by everyone but his friend Neil. The story has great messages about bullying and tolerance. I don't want to spoil it, but I saw it with 4 year and 6 year old. The 6 year got the message, the 4 year old not so much. Mildly scary in some scene, but nothing an intelligent child cannont handle.VisualsLaika!, The studio that brought use Coraline and Corpse Bride. This is the best stop motion animation I have ever seen. They were hired by Tim Burton and formed their own studio. I believe the first film to utilize a 3D printer for the film. I read in the Wired article Norman alone has something like 9000 separate faces, with over 300 hand sculpted hairs. Ridiculous attention to detail. They also used an advance process for the 3D shooting multiple frames with a high end Nikkon SLR. At the theater I was blown away by the 3D. I also love the story. La película llego a tiempo y en buen estado. La película es muy divertida la imagen y calidad del 4k es muy buena, viene con audio en español latino y subtítulos en español. Si vale mucho la pena está película de estudios Laika.

Plus humoristique qu'horrifique, il y a des scènes bien peu ragoutantes mais toujours vues et racontées avec drôlerie. Des messages tout de même bien sentis. Plein de références à de vieux films d'horreur ou de surnaturel que les adultes devraient repérer. Cela permet d'être visionné à tout âge. J'ai beau l'avoir vu plusieurs fois de suite dans des langues différentes, j'ai ri aux mêmes endroits : le comique de situation est très efficace. Un travail très poussé dans les détails représentés. C'est un boulot de dingue qui se laisse oublier pour rentrer dans l'histoire elle-même : preuve que tout est bien ficelé. Sans être voué à devenir un film culte, c'est clairement un exemple du genre très réussi et qui montre que le genre n'est pas mort malgré l'usage dominant des effets informatiques.

El envío fue rápido y la protección excelente.Respecto a la película es una de las mejores del Estudio Laika junto con Coraline. Muy recomendable.
