Good lock - does what it says it will
Have had this a few months now, and it still looks just like new. It is solid and definitely waterproof/non-corrosive so far.You get two keys which are sturdier than ones I've had in previous outdoor padlocks so all good there. Its on my shed, and we have had no issues whatsoever, so I would say it is worth the extra couple of quid over cheaper alternatives. The last lock I had rusted despite it being sold as an outdoor one. Don't see this happening with the Abus though.I did give it a little spray with WD40 as I was putting it up for the first time - don't know if that had any impact, but I can say with confidence you won't be disappointed if you buy this.

Great all rounder, safe and weatherproof.
This has so far been a great product for me. It arrived when suggested, exactly as described, and it has had no ill effects due to weather. It feels very solid and secure. It has been constantly outside for 4-5 weeks now, securing a shed in the open garden. Where it is there really is no protection, and the waterproof cap on the key barrel clips which clips on, really stays on ! I haven't felt safer leaving my thing in there and I recently bought a £25 alternative which seized in 3 weeks! I have bough several cheaper and more expensive options, if I ever needed another padlock, this is the one I would re-buy. If your wondering, DO BUY, well worth the money.

Does what it says on the tin but...
It's definitely weatherproof. Not a sign of any frailty after an Irish winter. It also7works reliably with firm open/close spring actions and what feels like decent tolerances.Unfortunately lost my keys so had to resort to sawing down the shackle. Thought I'd be there a good half hour but took me less than 5 minutes and I was working at an awkward angle. Whatever material is used, might as well be a hot knife through butter. The opposite of sturdy.

A Great weatherproof padlock of good quality
Brilliant just what I needed to replace a lock that ceased to work and as the rubber out cover cap protects the key insert from the elements it makes me feel safer too . Had I not found that someone had been in my yard and unbolted the gate leaving it open but also my cellar entrance has a lock with spikes railing surround , nothing happened but as I have had my wheelie bin stolen out of my yard in broad daylight this padlock ensures that intruders will find it not worth their time and is a deterrent as your life is the most precious thing in the house, I don’t have much worth stealing but intruders don’t know that . Plus my neighbour can wash & dry a mat/carpet with it out of view of opportunists who took minutes to steal one they’d cleaned in broad day light so it’s good to keep things out of sight and much harder to steal . Good price , totally would buy from them again

After 12 months it’s still as good as the day I bought it
I bought this padlock 12 months ago to secure a gate in our garden after my previous supposedly rust-proof padlock ended up showing signs of rust within 6 months and then after just over a year began to seize and needed replacing.A year later I'm happy to say that this padlock is well and truly standing the test of time; there are absolutely no signs of rust or wear and the lock is still as easy to open and close as it was the day I bought it.Very happy with this lock, it feels very well made, has a real solid feel to it and genuinely is weather proof!

So far so good - just a shame about only 2 keys
The trouble with all weather padlocks is that over time they seize up. I've had this one for a few days now and so far its fine. It's on our shed, which is a little protected from the elements. The lock is definitely robust - only comes with 2 keys which was a little disappointing, but opens and closes fine. Tbh, its the same design as the last one we had, just a different manufacturer. It's easy to open and close and the shackle part is 8mm (in case you need one for a certain hole size like we did for our shed doors). So far it does everything we wanted - however, my promise to you is that IF it seizes up, I will update this review. Depending on how long it lasts will depend on what I say about it.So far so good.

Expensive but does the job
Loses a star for being a ridiculous price. BUT it is an excellent lock had for few months and is used outside. Not yet done a winter. Used on keter outdoor extra large storage which it just fits.
