The media could not be loaded. The big benefit for me is that it is easy to take the tablet out and hold it to read comics or view videos in a chair or in bed. Then when I want to put it away, or carry it in my sling bag, it is easy to slide into the magnetic holding backing for the full benefits. I feel it is secure and safe in my briefcase or sitting on the table in a meeting. Just don't hang it by the lid and try to shake it free like an idiot, unless you want to break your tablet in order to convince your spousal unit it that you should buy a new one.How good this works for you is a personal-functional one. Depends on why you need a case. For my needs, it is perfect.In terms of a cover that also serves as a tilt for desk reading or for typing, they're all pretty much the same. They're also all alike if the desired value is to set the tablet to wake or sleep as you open or close the cover. If you want a space to hold your stylus or Apple Pencil, pay a bit more and they're all the same, too, though note that this one is the lower cost model, so no pencil place. Now if you have munchkins about or you're a klutz, then there are differences in protection you might want. This case is more like a secure padfolio, or whatever some people call it that in the olden days of the iPad 2, it would be held in the case by straps over the corners. There aren't any tight bumpers wrapped around the edges, but it is wider/taller than the tablet, providing basic bang around the edge or corner protection. And like I said, it is easy to take the tablet out or insert it back in the case, which is very important to me.For my needs, it is perfect.UPDATE NOTE:I just bought my second in a different color. If had a few bumps and small damage to case without damage to iPad. But after a year plus, it just got dirty, and cover does kept smearing onto a screen. So I got a new one.I do not understand the bad reviews or negative comments. These people didn't read the reviews, product description, or even look at the picture. And they are unrealistic in expectations. Yes, cases get dirty. Yes, it does not provide a whole cover on all corners. One negative reviewer includes a video of a vigorous repeated shaking of the open case. Of course it falls out with that treatment. If it held like that reviewer seems to expect, it would not be easy to take the tablet out when you wanted to use it. It is not full cover top line protection, cause that requires a tight locked cover that is more difficult to remove, and even the small added weight of that type of case decreases my ability to hold the case up while I lie in bed. This case is perfect for my needs. YMMV

The media could not be loaded. I have only had to buy one case for my iPad and thankfully this is the first one I bought. My only complaint is the edges to start to fold around the iPad as you continue to use the case. The magnetic part of the case does well and never pops off in being able to fold it to where I can prop. The iPad for easy viewing is a great feature. My iPad has heavy use and sure the case does show the wear, but it is sturdy and still great to use.

Great fit, nice materials, a slim and light fit. But, as expected by the design, doesn’t protect the sides. Oh, and the magnets are great!

This is a very nice cover. It's more suitable for home use as it's very slim, light, and elegant. It has a smooth texture like soft vinyl. You'll like it.

Fits perfectly.

IPad slips off back of case when you open the front. It appears that are relying on static electricity to keep the back of the case attached to the iPad. If there are magnets in the back, they no longer work.
