FAO Seller, is this product produced the traditional way i.e. removing the seeds and skin and just using the pulp of the pepper?

The seeds and skin have always been used in making traditional Hungarian ground paprika. More than 100 years ago in the watermills along the river Danube they even had a dedicated stone, ofter referred to as "reddening stone" as the last step of grinding to make sure the seeds and skin are processed properly. Its sole purpose was to grind the paprika seeds so that the important fatty acids from the seeds are mixed with the vibrant, oil soluble pigments in the skin. So both are vital parts of traditional Hungarian paprika.

Hi, does anyone know if this is a gluten free product? Does the factory handles gluten products as well or just the paprika? Thanks

Hi I am the Seller of this product from Menol Shop. I've got the answer from the manufacturer Chili-Trade Ltd. They confirmed, these paprika products are gluten free and they process only paprika in the workshop. Other products are processed in separate buildings. Best regards Menol Shop
