Will it work on glass?

It is designed to help decal attach on freshly painted surface. Another product named MicroSol can follow on to permanantly disolve decals onto the acrylic paint. But I assume it will get rid of static surface on glass but will not help bound in any manner. Cheers.

What is the difference between microsol and microset?

Microsol softens the decals and microset sets them, be sure to wipe the area down after though as various varnishes such as Humbrol clear can have a chemical reaction resulting in hazing of the varnish.

do you have to have micro sol as well to set the decals or will this do just fine?

Micro Set is used to set the decals. Micro Sol can help in case the decals goes on a surface that is not smooth such as panel lines on a plane.

Can you use this stuff to move a misplaced, already stuck down and dry decal?

I shouldnt think so,,, however depending on the type of support (the clear film)what you can try is soaking the decal in warm soapy water, this can take a while,, once its free you can carefully use microset to reset the thing but if in doubt use a tiny bit of diluted pva...Microset and Microsol both soften and weaken the support so the decal can conform so go careful and best of luck....
