Just buy it!
I'd originally ordered the bugera bc15 which arrived faulty, so took the chance to upgrade my replacement to this the V5. What an amp for the money!! The build quality is really good and solid and the styling is nice. The tone is wonderful. I play mainly bluesy (with some overdrive very occasionally from a pedal) and this has a gorgeous warm depth and is representative of a much more expensive bigger valve amp.The attentuator is very helpful but I don't think the sound through headphones is particularly good (but still useful for quiet practice).Having owned a range of much more expensive amps over the past twenty years, as I was getting back into playing I looked a long time for a good small true valve practice amp. I would highly recommend this. Just buy it you won't be disappointed!

Superb.
Had one of these before and made a mistake when I sold it. I have a 22w version with a 12" cab but needed a more portable practise amp with enough punch to get over drums and bass with similar tones so this was the obvious choice. Takes pedals, sounds similar (obviously not as full as my bigger rig) with all my guitars and much easier to transport for a practice at someone else's gaff. Lovely looking, we'll made, great sounding valve amp whose output belies its size. I won't be getting rid of this one!

Arrived broken
I bought the amp from Amazon Warehouse described as Used- Like New. It arrived and I plugged it in and it barely had any output. I changed the power setting and the valve warning light came on and the main power light started flashing.Returned as obviously something wrong with the valves. Really disappointing that the warehouse items aren't checked properly - this might have actually been dangerous. Then you don't get your money back for weeks after the return which is appalling. The item was returned October 18th and Amazon chat have just told me I could wait till November 9th for my refund despite having had a message from them to say they have received it.

Great bluesy tones
This is a great little amp. I’ve played both my 2004 Les Paul and my Strat with vintage 59 pick ups through it they both sound great.Don’t expect heavy rock or metal tones but it sounds great for blues and blues rock if you push it.Being able to turn the power down so you can turn the volume up and keep the valves saturated at a reasonable volume makes it great for home use. I would happily got it in small pub gigs as long as the drummer wasn’t getting to carried away

Disappointing
Can't get a decent sound out of it.Gain does very little, Reverb does a lot.Definitely not for front pickup players.Very loud though.

Wonderful Amp
Such a great little amp. Sounds so good without or without pedals and surprisingly loud!

Amazing value, change the tubes/valves
Well built amp with nice open clear sound from the speaker/cabinet. The tone of the amp is very mid/bass focussed even with a single coil guitar. The cabinet/amp head need quite a few screws tightening up that was all that was required.I experimented with valves a little, and came across some recommendations (see forums and you tube). The main issue is that the 12AX7 valve type isn't really suited to the tone of the amp delivering excessive gain that colours the amp tone in quite a negative way. So I settled on a JJ EL84 replacement, and most importantly a swap to a 12AT7 preamp valve to reduce the gain factor (60-70% rather than the 100% of 12AX7). I used a JAN Philips tube. This has transformed the amp completely. Lovely clear clean tones with much more headroom and the breakup is far more progressive and useable. This also offers more practical use of the attenuator settings for home use. 0.1W with volume and gain maximum delivery lovely valve overdrive at home volume with a telecaster.
