Good value, eco friendly hamster bedding
I use this bedding for my hamster, it's great for burrowing and the giant bag goes a long way so good value for money. It's absorbent so makes cleaning really easy, although can be difficult to see where it's soiled. It doesn't feel super soft but it is sturdy enough to maintain burrows and is a safe alternative to sawdust. It looks nice and natural in colour and is biodegradable. A little dusty but overall I recommend

Good for hamsters etc
My hamsters dig in this with no other added substrate at about 10" deep. One is Syrian and one is dwarf and it was enough to fill both of their enclosures. The wife has horses so I'd seen the stuff before. It has a slight odour that dissipates over time. A touch on the dusty side but not enough to worry me about the hammies health. Brown in colour as you'd imagine. Good value. I would say if you've a horse or burrowing rodent then this is good bedding.

No more smelly hamster!
Bought this to fill the hamsters new enclosure. Downside was it kicks up a lot of dust when transferring it from the bag no matter what you do - would recommend d doing that bit outside! And there is an unpleasant smell up close. But once it’s in it’s so effective! She never smells anymore, her burrows are holding really well so it’s exciting for us to watch and her sprays stand up well in it too. It took her a little while to dig into it but once she started she loved it! Can’t get over how well it hides her critter smell.

Great as substrate for rats but not great as bedding.
I've seen this described as "dusty". I must strongly disagree. One of my rats loves to shovel Megazorb around, often pushing it out of their adapted rabbit hutch (with very low side walls). It seems to stay completely dry and odour free, being easily cleaned up. The clumps are too small to sensibly pick up by hand, but are comfortably consumed by the vacuum cleaner. I will re-adapt their home to keep more inside, rather than stop using this super absorbant stuff.So... yes your critters could make a mess, but "dusty"? No, it is absolutely NOT dusty!Smelly? I've seen it described as this too.For us, it has a clean, not unpleasant smell, almost imperceptable unless you sniff directly - and why would you do that?More importantly, it keeps away their smells completely, between changes. We happily keep the little fellas in our lounge and choose to fully clean them out every fortnight. That's probably OTT and I think maybe this stuff could be good enough for several months at a time, with selective "poo-picking". For comparison, oddly perhaps, I'm sensitive about visiting dog-owners homes becasue to me, canines are too smelly to be kept inside, yet I've had no problems with how this stuff works in my home. As for the little guys, they absolutely love to be bathed, so they're done frequently and we are all happy.Critisism? Yes, my rats will not use this as "bedding", which actually is what it's described as. I'm now experimenting with Fitch for this, which appears to be more suitable. As a substrate alone however, I find this product really clean and truey excellent.

Adore this product!!
So I read some good reviews about this product and thought I'd try it for my rabbits as I was worried about using wood chips etc because its meant to be bad for them. I will not go back. They have had a clear preference over this product to the hay and shredded paper I was previously using. They prefer this so much more that because I only use it in their litter box, they have actually litter trained themselves. Which I think is quite an incredible response to a product. The megazorb has a faint smell, which I personally love, it smells fresh and natural. When its used I used to find the shredded paper smelt strong, but I honestly don't notice the actual wee smell with this product. I do change the litters everyday which may help that but its worlds apart from the other products ive used. The bag is huge and in my opinion very cheap for the quality/quantity of product you get.As I have long haired (one angora) rabbits I originally was concerned it would get intertwined in their fur due to it being small so used a layer of hay on top. Ive found I dont need to do this because it just falls off.The clumping effect of the litter is great if you want to fuss about and save certain parts for efficiency, personally im not so into that i just use what they need.Ive strongly considered trying to use this for my cats too cause im sure it would work out cheaper than what im currently using, but I havent bothered yet.Overall I will def be purchasing again and would recommend to others based on my experiance. Plus for less than £15 for a 85l bag it's worth a shot.Super quick delivery from the suppliers.[EDIT- brought a second bag, which arrived 3 days early yippe, and the smell was very different (it wasn't great- its still far better than the smell of animal dirt, but the first bag smelt lovely) I also had a ziptie which had been cut and was in the bag. Just took it out but it's worth glancing at it before giving it to animals. I do imagine it's a rare situation. I have two rabbits and am refilling two litters every day and the bag lasts me around a month. I am still very impressed with this product and will continue to buy it]

helps keep your pet’s cage clean, comfy, and stink-free. Less cleaning, happy pet.
Megazorb is super soft, absorbent bedding for your pets. Got a guinea pig, hamster, or rabbit? This stuff keeps their cage comfy and dry, soaking up pee like a champ and killing off bad smells. It’s made from wood pulp, so it’s natural and safe. Plus, it’s dust-free, which is good for your pet’s little lungs (and yours too!). It’s also easy to clean up—just scoop the clumps and toss 'em

Dusty, and stinks
The most recent bag of this I ordered smelled terrible and was unusable. I had previously been using it for small animals (inside the house) and it was generally okay if a bit dusty. It was so strong and unpleasant that I had to throw out the entire bag and order an alternative product. I can still smell it in every room of the house, a day later. A really unpleasant manure/solvent combination.
