can this cut and sand PVC material??

This could definitely be used for cutting PVC. You could probably also sand pvc, but I’m not sure what kind of finish you would get. There are some buffing pads included so you could buff out some scuff marks but there aren’t any fine grit sanding items. Might be more like “grinding” than “sanding” with the included items. This item is as useful and versatile as any rotary tool on the market, so if you’re thinking about getting one this is a great entry level tool for most jobs.

What size is the neck of the tool? I'm looking to pair this with a drill press and need to know the diameter for the clamp.
