Well packaged. We had it ssembled by a professional, I would recommend this unless very competent at diy. One washer missing on a bottom tap, but that is not much of a problem. Experienced no leaks on any joints but we applied a thin bead of silicone on these and anything else that could weep water. They tell you NOT to use a spanner and only hand tighten but did experience water weeping at the inlet for the water feed - a careful hand is needed! This is because all fittings are plastic and could be easily broken. We also had to dismantle the actual shower head and use silicone inside as this was not a perfect fit and was leaking water.So in all - assemble with care and be prepared to fine tune the fittings. Too cold to use at the moment ( April 2017 ) but the power the water comes out is good, it looks great, and I have no doubt we will get hours of use out of it in the summer. I will try and manufacture some kind of weatherproof sleeve for it for the winter to maintain its looks. My builder/plumber who assembled thought the same and is buying one too!

This is a great idea. We use it all the time on Sunny afternoons sunbathing in the garden

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble use a lubricant on internal seal prior to assembling both halves. Do not overtighten the shower head , tap etc hand tighten will suffice. You will require 12mm drill bit for the metal raw plugs for fit into concrete base. Connect hose and away you go. It took approx 3 hours for the water to heat via the body casing...the sun temp was 32 degrees...it can get hot so run a little water out before you shower...in the heat of the sun monitor small children using the shower.

Product quality ok.But beware .....this needs a recommended pressure of 3.5 bar. This was not made clear when ordering. For me a total waste of time...can't even get a dribble out of it. May be fine if u have massive water pressure...who knows.

Ideal shower for the garden. Reasonably easy to install. The water it produces is warm after a short time providing the sun is out. Looks good in the garden.

Update in August - I spoke to soon. After only 4 months, water is now coming through seal between 2 halves. I disassembled it. Seal is compressed to the extent that the 2 halves of shower are loose even with turn-catch fully engaged. Dropped 2 stars as a result. Requesting new seal, but if it only lasts 4 months... little point. Considering replacing with different make where shower is 1-piece.I was very uncertain about this purchase. I'm in the UK, and the sun isn't quite what it is in the Med! However, I'm pleased to say it's turned out to be great - perfect for a quick shower on entering and leaving a hot tub. The assembly was fine, though it's a big unit, and it's best to have two people to avoid any catastrophes - especially when joining the two halves. All parts were present and correct. It was water tight immediately on first filling - no leaks. We had a hot and sunny day, and after a few hours in the sun the water temp was nice and warm. It does take a few hours and requires a very decent sunny day in the UK, but it does manage to get warm under those ideal circumstances. I didn't want to bolt it down, so used large cable ties to secure it to an existing strong fence post - and this has worked well (it is VERY heavy when full of water). One thing I have noticed is that it cools down when the sun goes away a lot more quickly than it heats up, but I suppose that's unavoidable - if the heat can get in, it can get out too. I'm very pleased with it.

I love this It's great I bought it for an outside cold shower after sauna. It fits together easily though do be aware you will need a drill and some kind of flat base like a flagstone for portability to place this in your garden safely.

A good value shower that's easy to install and only needs hose pipe. The big disappointment was that whilst the tap and on/off lever are metal the shower head and pipe itself are very cheap plastic. Not sure how long it will last. The description didn't mention this and would rather have paid a bit more to have it all in more durable metal fixings.
