Cute and fun to watch, but not a true measure of weather, though very attractive on my coffee table, and guests love it.

It does predict the rain, or say the temp drop
I put the bottle near the window where it can get the light during daytime. At the beginning there is almost no crystal in the liquid because it was clear day. However it starts to gather crystals near the bottom the seond night. And the third day our city starts to rain.I checked info, the crystal is most likely sensitive to temperature change. Perhaps that is the reason it gets crystal. But I still like the behavior. Just treat it like a micro chemical system and it brings tranquility.

Do not buy
I purchased this for a family member for their birthday thinking it would be a great gift to help them see the weather in a fun and different way.The instructions for this said that it could take 3 weeks to become acclimated to the environment before it would work.I waited over a month and it never changed, the white stuff just stayed up top in a straight line.I contacted the seller and asked not for my money, but for a replacement and I was told "it will still make a great center piece, have a nice day".Do not buy.

I bought this for a White Elephant gift party. It was an absolute show stopper.

Must’ve gotten the one ‘lemon’
Went from 60 degrees and sunny to snow during the first few days and this has not changed since opening the package - same “floater” display. Bummer.

I'd be better off with a weather rock
Title pretty much says it all. Had a squall line come through overnight, and nada. Stuck on 'Sunny'.

STURDY & WELL MADE
Our weather has been sunny since I got this and I can't wait to see what it does when a storm comes in. Weather has always fascinated me. This is so dainty and looks amazing. I like how you can position it differently on the wood stand. I am very impressed with this so far.
