I ordered these specifically looking for a replacement key fob for my 2012 Chevrolet Camaro. These key fobs are almost the same on the outside, but the back has a circular cut-out for the make of the car. However, they were very different on the inside. On these, and the OEM, key fobs, you cannot just take out the plastic buttons to replace it even though that is the most common reason people need to replace their key fobs. The biggest problem that I had with these fobs is that I could not use any of its parts to make OEM fob better. I could not take the plastic from the buttons and I could not move the actual key to these fobs (cut outs on metal are different).The only way I'd see these as a useful replacement is if you plan to actually get the key fobs cut, and even then, most locksmiths do not like to use customer-provided keys for many reasons.

Doesn't work

With an existing key these new key fobs were very easy to program. I was told by an automotive locksmith that the chevy fob is easy to program.I did it in 2 mins for a 2014 Chevy Sonic and it worked like a charm.

I bought them for my son his old one busted and I had to search for new one and found them on Amazon. He took them to car key cut and works perfect exactly what he needed for his 2014 Chevy Cruze…Thank you!!!
