Q: My grandson will be turning 5 next January will this bike be Ok for him? He has never had one. This will be his first bike

My boys got them at 4.5 years old, the seat is adjustable and it is an easy first bike. But if your grandson is tall, then he might outgrow it in a year. My 6 year old daughter, on the shorter side, uses a 16 inch wheel bike which will last her a couple of more years.

Q: Do you think this is a good first bike for a 3 yr olds b'day? We thought this might be better than a trike, but I'm not sure.

YES! 100%. We love it and got ours for our 3 year old. He is 4 now and still rides it. I'd say it has another year at least worth of riding! We love this bike. It's cute and made well.

Q: Is the seat adjustable?

Yes the seat is adjustable up or down. You just have to loosen the bolt a little and it moves then tighten the bilt back up.

Q: How am I supposed to secure the handle bar? I tightened the bolt at the top with Allen wrench but it didn't do anything.

i don't know i returned the one i bought because it was banged up.
