a good "treat" for a Harry Potter fan but paying for a name, more than the product itself.
My children are big Harry Potter fans and they love these products, which we have previously purchased on special occasions. However, I would agree that you are paying for the name and novelty of the product rather than its quality. The chocolate frog always gets eaten but once the fun of the (small) Bertie Botts Beans have worn off, they are thrown away (because when it comes to it, nobody wants a vomit flavoured sweet!). The butter beer is probably the favourite product for a few reasons; that it feels grown up to drink from a glass bottle, its featured a lot in the movies/books and is fizzy and a sweet flavour. However, to me it tastes a lot like the supermarket cream soda which can be purchased for a fraction of the cost. So, in summary, this is a good "treat" product for a Harry Potter fan and arrived looking as it was advertised. However, if it did not have the Harry Potter label it would absolutely not be worth the money.

Paying for the name
This was ok, but not sure it’s worth the money. The butterbeer was good so I might buy it again for a birthday or Christmas, but not as a normal treat because of the price. These did say they were imported to the uk, which accounts for the price if not the taste. The kids likedThe chocolate frogs and now want to collect the cards - so again, this will be a Christmas or birthday treat. The jelly beans did have quite a variety of flavours but the box is very small -smaller than a box of Nerds for example. The jelly slugs were not good. Very hard texture with a slightly plastic/soapy taste under the actual flavours. I was expecting something more like jelly babies but these are definitely not. I won’t buy this as a set again, but might buy the butterbeer and chocolate frogs again, if I’m feeling generous.

A treat for every fan, with some disgusting surprises :-)
Ok so these are not cheap. It is Harry Potter merchandise so that was never going to be the case. They however lots of fun. My family loves the film so enjoyed these little snacks and drink as they brought a smile to our faces. Apart from the rotten egg, that stuff is jusy nasty. If you are a fan of the film and can look past the price then treat yourself and play a little Russian roulette with Bertie Bott's treats. If you dare.

Paid for the name. Smaller than expected
Bought as a gift. Pack well for delivery. Good for Harry Potter fans but not worth the cost. Products a lot smaller than expected. The image advertised is very misleading. The bottle has been reduced in size to make the other products look bigger. The bean box is very small.
