It gets hot. It’s a pot not a cup. You can pour the contents into a cuo, though.

No I have not noticed it getting hot. Warm yes.

How hot does it get? if i put oil in, could i get it up to say 350-400 degrees to fry in? i saw something on youtube that may suggest that

It will boil water. And soups. I do t believe it will get hot enough to fry with oil.

Is this pot wireless? If so, where does the power come from?

The electric hot pot is power with cable, the cable comes with the package.
