Play mobile camper
This is an excellent toy my children loved it pretending they where going on holidays I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and she loves it. it's a favorite of hers and play with it for hours. Tons of imaginary play ideas with all the things to do. The only downside is keeping track of the little pieces and some come apart easily

Very Good but too much to assemble
Very Good but with some major flawsThis is a good toy and should engage kids for hours. Its good bits have been mentioned by most reviewers so I shall focus on odd bits.It is not usable out of box! You need to assemble it and it takes 45 minutes or so (and I have built complex Lego Technic models)! I thought you only need to stack the shelves and utensils but I was wrong. Even the wheels need to be assembled and attached to the camper van. This is a major drawback. I can understand fitting tyres in wheels; but with little force, wheels can be detached from the camper body. This should not happen. There are loads of other things need to be assembled (for no reason) which includes - 2 bicycles, the right hand side of van (where door/windows are), inside table, toilet taps etc.One may argue that it adds to playability but these small items are very likely to be lost (even after they are fitted/attached to the van)! The cons far outweighs the pros of having so many small parts (which could easily been fixed with body). The shelves, utensils (i.e. cups, dishes, pans, bottles) and camping equipments (chairs, table etc.) came as loose and this is understandable. But rest of the van should have come with fully assembled.Although it says it is from age 4+, I think due to so many small parts the kids need to be little bit older (probably 5+) to appreciate it fully. Some adults can play with it too :-) I paid £24 (Amazon varies the price a lot) for it and it is far better than any other camper van at the market. This is only 2nd Playmobil set I bought - so perhaps my expectation was not right. I bought a Playmobil train (5258) before and that was fun straight out of box with very little assembly. Please don't take my review too negatively - this is just to make you aware of the downside as most other reviews seem to be carried away with the positives only.

Also be very careful putting in the front lights as they can easily fall inside the camper and you would have to ...
Arrived within the correct time scale, and everything was there, mostly in bags. It took me about 2 hours to put all the pieces onto the camper. You are given pictures of each stage of construction. It would have been easier if each bag of parts related to a page number but this is not the case - the parts could be in any of the bags so you have open bags with various parts in them. Also be very careful putting in the front lights as they can easily fall inside the camper and you would have to spend time trying to get it out though one of the holes for the lights. On the plus side my three year old granddaughter loves it and she has already had a lot of play time with it. One word of warning it does contain a lot of very small parts (less than 5mm), which we have held back until she gets much older. The only reason for four stars is the length of time it takes to complete a toy, which for the price I would have expected to be fully completed, and the fiddly front lights.

Lovely campervan but very small & not fully assembled
This is a nice little camper van with lovely attention to detail and some good accessories - we liked the people and the bikes. However my main criticisms are that you have to put most of it together yourself (I don't mind putting a few stickers on, but if I'm paying this much money for a toy, I don't expect to be attaching wheels and headlights and taps etc myself, to be honest) and overall it is absolutely TINY. It's my first Playmobil purchase and whilst I like the style and build quality, I honestly expected it to be a bit bigger than this - big enough for my daughter to use with some of her little dolls - but she will only be able to use it with Playmobil figures which is a bit disappointing, as she likes to mix and match her toys. On the plus side it won't take up much room in her bedroom! So overall, a nice campervan but for the price it should be twice the size and fully assembled.

Great Introduction to Playmobil
We have a fair bit of playmobil now the school, playground, swimming pool etc and so I bought this for my five year old daughter for her birthday. Firstly this was really great value at 19.99 compared to some of the other sets. You get a lot of additional pieces such as cutlery, bikes, patio furniture etc.The best thing about this piece is that it is all self contained. The school for instance you set it all up and moments later it's scattered across the floor. This, the pieces all tidy away inside. There's handy holders for the plates and cups, drawers for the cutlery and the patio furniture all folds away and stores away in the roof.It does take a long time to assemble playmobil, it is after all a construction toy but if you are giving this to a younger child you are well advised to make it up first as it's time consuming. A lot of playmobil is really expensive and this set is a great one to get to kick start your collection, it will give you a good idea whether your child is interested without laying out for the likes of the school, pirate ship or hotel!
