We modified this to make a handle to open and close a basement egress. I am buying another to create a tool to clean my stable roof. Inexpensive, solid item.

I saw some reviews that say the diameter is wrong but is not if you read carefully and choise de right tools for this pole: brush or rake or net leaf. Our pool is small (14'x42 ") and has its cover all the time, so the water stays fairly clean. Maintenance for me is easier if the cleaning accessories are light and this pole is, it also has the correct diameter (1 1/16") for the brush I had bought before of 10 ". The other day I cleaned the entire pool and I didn't feel pain in my arms and I am a 62 year old woman, I am happy with the result, now my grandchildren can continue enjoying the pool. I recommend that you do not extend the pole completely, it should be left about three inches without extending so it does not break at the joints, this should applies to all the pole that have more than one joint. I let it dry well outside in the shade, before picking up the extension and save it in the backyard shed for another cleaning day. I don't know the durability, We will see in six months what happens. Adjustment on the lower part was frozen and even with pliers I couldn’t get it to disengage

I am a Prime member. Bought this pole to use with my pool scrubber. It did not fit my scrubber and want to return. There was nothing wrong with the pole. Paid Just over $16 for the pole, when I went to get e return label, they wanted to charge me over $12 in shipping to send back. Not a great way to keep customers happy and coming back. I will not order from them again.

Insufficient description. I thought I was buying a telescoping pole that had two pieces. Instead, it was made of three pieces with the third piece being very thin and not sturdy. I would never have bought if I had known it was in three sections instead of two sections like I'm used to. No wonder it was so inexpensive.

great pole but it did not fit on my net; I went back to see if you offered a net for this particular pole, butcould not locate one

Quite possibly one of the BEST adjustable and extendable pool skimmer poles I have ever used. Great purchase!

This seems fairly robust for the 5 minutes I've used it so far. Be careful when tightening up the sections, it can get REALLY tight. I had to use a pair of channel locks to undo the sections to collapse it.So, why 3 stars? This is not a standard size. I have a skimmer and a vacuum and neither fit this pole. The diameters of all three items were identical, so you could not install the skimmer or vacuum on the pole.I just spent the last 45 minutes using a belt sander to sand away the OD of the skimmer and vacuum parts that slide into the pole. It's satisfactory now, otherwise I would have given a 1 star.

The description when I bought this pole a couple of months ago said it had a 1-1/16 inch ID. It doesn't. It has a 1-1/16 inch OD and would not work with the pool cleaning suction head I had bought. Ir might work with a pool skimmer.

I bought the unit in april did not tested until today. actually it does not connect to the skimmer. both items were sold as recommendation. second the telescopic thing does not hold. since I am not able to return it is a wast of money .

Would be nice if these would indicate size more clearly as this will not work with a lot of pool cleaning accessories

Purchased this with a Poolmaster 28008 Black Magic Jet Vacuum - Premier Collection as a 'recommended buy together'. The listing has two different diameters (picture says 1 3/16", which is the right size and the description says 1 1/16" which is too small).Extremely dissatisfied!
