SkyDRX890 SKY+ HD BOX

The box itself is great, so good in fact we have bought another which means that, as both are wifi enabled, we can down use the on demand service in two rooms which is quite liberating. We've had them for about a month now and they seem to be resilient and trouble free doing everything you'd expect a Sky+ HD box to do. They are more compact but have more capacity than our creaking old ones.The set up was just OK. Sky have very good instructions on line in their help section, however we still needed to phone Sky Customer Services (very helpful) to link our card to the box even though we had already done so through the setup screen and our remote. It also took numerous goes to link the new box wirelessly to our router, but we got there in the end, and it was worth the hassle now they're up and running.

So far so good! The box arrived at the time the seller quoted, and is setup and working fine (just testing the hard drive now, and seems to be downloading content ok!)!Definitely worth buying, seeing as Sky will quote you £199 for the same box (and try and make you feel like you're getting a bargain!)!Faster delivery time would have earned the full 5 stars!Thanks guys!

Arrived very quickly. Really happy with this, it was just as expectedSky on the other hand were not too helpful, if you dont have your customer number, they will try and get you to purchase a new one!If using as freeview box, this can be used without card. Set up was easy and manuel was easily located on the internet, which is large and you might not want to printGreat to be able to continue watching one channel while searching for information on other channels

Said new in description but when we connected the box to our tv we found recordings of coronation street, eastenders and emmerdale to name a few. Working ok at the moment and was packaged well.

Item in great condition, delivered fast and well priced

It does what it does, however, this vendor does not have a remote control to go with it. Very disappointing to know that i have to buy an extra remote. Very annoyed. Packaging said it does but it doesn’t.

I connected the Sky box only about four weeks ago. It worked alright for two weeks with the old sky viewing card then it stopped recording. The pause and rewind/ forward functions also stopped. Every time I wanted to record or pause. it displayed the message " There is an issue with this box. "There was no clear warning at the time of purchase that this box did not have a built in WPS switch like my old Sky box has. Or, there was no warning that I will need to buy a separate connector otherwise I will not have bought itI reconnected my old box last week and it is working well without any problems

Genuine brand new product. Comes with all leads and remote. Easy to set up seller has also included an easy to follow set up guide, just go online and pair your existing Sky viewing card with the box. Very pleased with the product
