KS2 English Year 3 Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling Targeted Question Book (with Answers) (CGP Year 3 English)

I use this book to reinforce these major skills learned at school by the students I tutor. The book has variety and covers the work that Year 3 are doing. The students I teach often have English as their second language so it opens up opportunities to discuss the nuances of English at this level. The students enjoy being able to assess their ability and give themselves a tick in the smiley faces at the end of each section dependent on the skill level they have reached.

An easy way to review and recap GPS work covered in Year 3. My son finds this especially useful to help him better understand the language used to talk about words - so it recaps nouns, verbs, clauses etc whilst providing opportunities to complete short exercises to practise using them or identifying them.Each page or double-page spread focuses on one aspect of GPS and does not take more than a few minutes to complete. It is very easy to follow and understand. Each page has a short section that explains the skill and what the words mean.

We chose this product for homeschooling during the Coronavirus lockdown. My 8 year son and wife both found the books straight forward, easy to navigate and easy to teach. They also give me, as a parent, the peace of mind that he is learning what he needs in this school year. It is structured well and my son easily finishes one or 2 exercises every day.

Bought as a support to Y3 children. Great to pick up and run with. Simple to use and great peace of mind knowing they’re practising skills particular to their year group.

I have been buying this books for 3 years now. They are very easy to follow and the examples are really good. More difficult questions come with little tip on how to answer the questions. My daughter is doing 2 pages each day and she is really enjoying studying maths using theses books.
