This book is perfect for very early beginner readers in Arabic. I have been looking for a series like this for so long, and was really happy to find these books from Collins. They are quite similar to the early reading schemes you get in english phonics schemes and work so much better than just finding a simple arabic toddler book and hoping for the best! These are much more manageable for my kids to try and read and de-code, and so it is a lot more encouraging and motivating for them.This particular book focuses on rhyming words with a similar sound, so you will have baab, kabaab... baab wa kabaab for example, which helps children due to the repetition in the sounds, and makes it a bit easier.The print quality is good, much better than the thin cheap arabic books we had as kids. This is glossy, colourful, and looks great! So good to find good quality Arabic reading books at a good price.The authors are the couple who wrote the Mastering Arabic series, which is also really good if you are an adult learning Arabic, they obviously know their stuff and have designed these kids books very well.

My son loves this book, we started reading it before he turned two and his first repeated ARABIC words have been Baba Kabab, he’s over two now and still loves it, wants me to read it every night before bed time and it’s one of the way I can get him into bed by saying let’s read Baba Kabab...heheThanks for the awesome fun book and great illustrations.

Good book with simple examples ( 3 letters written in two different words) and have the same rhythm.

Terribly written no rhythm if that’s what was intended not the type of vocabulary chosen for the age!Not sure where the raving 5 stars came from! I won’t buy again!
