What I was looking for. Would work better with wax candles than plastic
I got these to hold the plastic battery powered candles we have on our tree to give them a more authentic and old timey look. They would work better with wax candles or ones with a smaller base so they’d have something to grip, but I think I can glue ours on and they will work. I will try next Christmas. They were exactly what I was looking for though.

Don’t hold weight very well
I got these to use with battery powered faux candlesticks. They tip over very easily once the candlestick is filled with batteries unfortunately. I had to keep adjusting them on the tree this whole season. They also are only made for very thin candlesticks, so I had to use pliers to adjust them. They’re cute but not sure I’d recommend them.

i wanted to love these so bad but they’re a little flimsy. next year i’ll try them again but for now it’s a no :(

Many of the clips came bent and the gold finish also comes off when you touch them and make your hands covered in some glitter looking specks

They are too small for the candle you want to use
As above you'll want to put a normal candle in there - it won't fit. Think birthday cake candle but a smidgen wider not taper definitely DOES NOT fit the taper. Don't be like me and think it will work, youll just spread the clamp on bottom. Nope, that wont work.Everything is perfect about them, trust me those clamps are soild because I manipulated the heck out of them to attempt to fit candles as above....
