Like Bombas for dogs! Well made, stays put, even on a dog with short legs (just fold the top)!
These dog socks are made much better than I expected! Stretchy, soft, well made, they remind me of Bombas socks... but for dogs. ;)Purchased these because our sweet girl, a 25 lb beagle mix (vets think she’s Beagle corgi/basset or may have a form of dwarfism) developed an interdigital furnuncle (a wound between her toes), but our vet didn’t have any immediate openings for an appointment. They suggested I cover her foot with a sock until we could come in. Purchased a size Medium and they stay on much better than the human footie sock + elastic bandage method we initially attempted!Since our girl has big paws for her size but very short legs, the size medium fits the paw footbed area perfectly, but is more like a thigh high. ;) So we secure the elastic Velcro band (not too tight— be careful!), then fold down the top of the sock over the band. She’s very picky about “wearing things,” but after a day or so, she completely adjusted to wearing a sock. The socks don’t slow her down at all— just like she normally does, she’ll get the zoomies, hump her bed, use her front paws (one of which is now sock covered) just like little hands to hold her bones or toys for chewing.Since using the socks for the last week, her foot is already 99% better! She can’t chew or lick the area effectively while wearing the sock, this allows us to apply some Rx mupriocin antibiotic ointment several times a day without worrying that she’ll ingest the ointment or re-infect the wound by licking. She could probably wear them outdoors just fine, but we’ve opted to remove them during her walks and at bedtime. First thing in the am and after walks, I’ll check her wound and reapply the antibiotic with a fresh clean sock (having 6 comes in handy!). The socks wash up really well, too— I just hand wash in the bathroom sink, then hang to dry.I would definitely recommend these for any dog who is suffering from paw injuries or infections, or for older or disabled dogs who need the stability of a non-slip bootie. Since our dog is a senior dog with a loooong body (which means she’s more prone to having spinal issues) and confirmation issues, after her wound heals we plan to hang on to these for any future needs she may have. One IMPORTANT thing: Be sure not to secure the elastic/Velcro strap too tightly— I inadvertently put the sock on too tightly once, and after several hours, removed it and noticed that her paw was swollen, and she had a bit of an indent from the band around her leg. I felt awful about it! So now I test the fit of the strap by making sure I can still slip my pinkie finger inside the sock (just barely!), which is tight enough to stay on, but not so tight that it would feel uncomfortable or cause any circulation issues. Like with anything you put on your dog, be sure to check the fit frequently, and frequently remove and check for any signs of irritation or discomfort.

Good overall but flawed.
My senior dog licks and chews on his paws a couple months or so each year due to increased allergy issues. He takes allergy medication year round already so we just have to deal with the problem a different way. These socks are helpful. They are easy to take on and off. They are easy to care for (I hand wash them and hang them up to dry). I like the fact that you get six socks and the grippers are great. However, at least two of the socks (for the back paws) should be longer and have the Velcro in two spots or just one that would be higher up the paw (actually on the leg). They slip down on the back paws too much because they are too short for the back paws. Okay short term but not for longer time frames. Also, the snap for the Velcro attachment to the sock should have a cloth cover over the inside part because it presses into the dogs paw and can cause discomfort. I use these socks for short periods of time during the day when I can’t watch him and he sleeps in human socks that I tape on using cloth tape.

Work Great Repeat Buyer
We use these regularly on our senior dog's back feet to give him traction on our hardwood floors. They work great and definitely give him confidence. He is very cooperative when we put them on in the morning. He is large breed (62 lbs.) so they do wear out. Mostly his toenails start to poke through the front. I have washed them in a lingerie bag with no problems. One word of advice is to take them off at night or when your dog is napping so their paws can breathe. Our dog started to get chafe marks on his legs, but they cleared up when we didn't leave the socks on all day and night.

They were cute, but not functional
I bought these non slip socks for our toy poodle. They did fit, however they seemed to slip around quite a bit, so we ended up returning them.

Life Saving Socks
I will try to explain how amazing these socks are. My 15 year old dachshund mix has began to struggle walking and especially on our hard wood floors. Her feet just can't get traction anymore. These socks have given her back her independence. She can get herself up and is able to walk and get food and water on her own. The Velcro is super strong and keeps the socks in place. They are literally amazing and am so glad to have found this product.

Great for DRY Conditions!
My dog does not like things on her feet, but the pavement is so hot that I decided to try the sock style booties. Amazingly- she let me put these on her paws, and I think because they are soft, she didn't put up her usual fight. She did the duck walk for a short bit, but adjusted to these quickly and they seem to stay on her feet really well. The grips are on both sides - so even if they twist a little on the paw- they still have grip and protection. Not sure how long they will last, but they do give you two extra socks in the package, incase you lose one or one gets torn up. They are very cute and the stretch lets me slip them on my pups paws fairly easily. Great for DRY COLD or HOT conditions, but because they're knit - would likely not work well in slippery wet conditions - such as rain on top of ice or a wet snow event.

Excellent product.
The media could not be loaded. My 60lb Doberman is almost 13 years old and her back legs have become progressively weaker. She has lost some confidence in walking where there is no carpet and having upgraded to all laminate floors, she walks less and less. I’d like her to maintain her strength, so I thought I’d try these. No problem putting them on and attaching the velcro with the snap. She instantly starting walking around and tolerated the socks without problem. She has more grip with them on and can stand up more easily now. Very happy with them! I’m only going to use them on the back legs at the moment.
