Directions say to use 1 cartridge for every 2 gallons of water. My humidifier is 1.2 gallons. Can I use the cartridge in this smaller humidifier?

can you reuse it after emptying tank if you are not using your humidifier on a dsily basis?

In the winter time I use my humidifier. I put my filter and protec in the humidifier in October I live in Kentucky. I use it til April. I then remove the filter and the protec. I throw them away. I then empty and clean the humidifier and store it away for the summer. In the winter time it gets filled with water almost every day. It keeps my rooms comfortable and not so dry.

Does this product contain silver nanoparticles?
