My kids took the filters out
I bought these to send with my kids to their dad's because he has questionable well water.I washed them and soaked the filters for 5 minutes, not because directions told me to but because that's what you have to do with the Brita filter. So, again, I didn't read any directions, they were probably in the box.It seemed pretty basic, put the filter in the container part at the top of the straw. So, that's what I did and we took it for a trial run and the kids couldn't get water out of it. I had to send them to their dad's for the first day of school and asked him to take a look at it.Now both of my kids have taken the filters out so that they can actually drink the water rendering it pointless for the purpose for which I specifically intended. Which, is annoying, but typical of how things work at their dad's.Takeaways :Smaller than I thought it would be (in fairness I didn't look at the dimensions)Pricey (for me $30 is a LOT to pay for a water bottle)Difficult to use (I would call myself of average ability to use water bottles and I couldn't make it work). It leaked inside my son's bag, despite being closed securelyI guess buying it was better than throwing sixty bucks out the window. But, just barely.

Doesn’t come with 3 filters
Edited: I purchased this water bottle specifically because it came with three filters. There is one filter in the box not three so be aware. I contacted Phillips and they sent me replacements which I really appreciated so I’m updating my review.

Perfect
I bought 2 of these for a trip to Europe. The size is perfect to fit into smaller pockets and cup holders. It’s not difficult to drink and pull the water through the filtered straw. The capacity is good, too, as long as you remember not to overfill it and leave room for the straw filter.

Can't fill it up too much.
The bottle is good but you can only fill it up to an inch from the top. I drink a lot of water so I am constantly refilling it. O.k. product.

Great
My work provides water from dispensers but it’s not always the cleanest or best tasting this bottle really helped save my money on buying plastic bottles just for work now I can drink the free water at work and have a clean taste
