I'm giving it 4 stars purely on the fact that the spazzolato leather as the description states I initially questioned. That is unless you're a leather expert and therefore know what the leather would look like and feel like to the touch. The reasons - There's no mark stating leather on the album, but there is an embossed 'made in italy' on the back. The look and feel can give the obvious impression its PU leather. That cheap perfect grain, synthetic leather you get on mobile phone cases. And the third reason, there's no leather smell from the product.So naturally paying £44.00 for a photo album you can understand why I questioned it's authenticity.However I'm no leather expert and don't claim to be, so after doing some research Spazzolato as stated means 'brushed' hence why I guess it has a sheen and no natural grain. No obvious leather smell? Well I don't know. So the conclusion, positives, well made, good thick paper pages, nice patterned paper separating the pages. Good size and good price. So I believe it's leather but I guess I was expecting a more natural 'obvious' leather look and feel.

Stunning - a real classic. Such a beautiful product, the design, the Italian leather. To me, this is a true heirloom that I can see lasting many, many years. I bought it for a good friend for her birthday. I think most anyone would be truly impressed by this product and I plan to buy quite a few for Christmas gifts. I also think this is incredible value. So, for the person who has everything - this is your answer, in my opinion.Service and delivery - A1. They call you when they have a question - some personal service for on line ordering. Love it.

Product came well packaged in its own box, but inside the box the album was wrapped in an additional plastic sleeve. It’s a shame this was not a cloth sleeve as for my personal preference this detracted from its quality and presentation. Also, like other reviewers, dubious about it being real leather as plastic storing a leather item plastic would dry it out. Nevertheless I’m happy with the product, the pages are thick with additional lining sheets to protect photos.

Far exceeded my expectations. A lovely strong supple leather which is far better quality than I was expecting, and nicer than some with faux leather corners at more than twice the price. Seller couldn't be more helpful and put extra lettering on the front for me which looks beautiful. The tan edging gives it an even more quality feel and the style is chic and appropriate for a wedding present for a young couple. Delivery was unbelievably quick for a personalised item too - 2 days!

The chocolate colour I ordered looks a lot like black to me. The film in between each card sheet is a bit of a faff. Overall not really worth the money. I think £35 would be reasonable maybe 45 with the engraving.

Album is good quality and arrived in good time and well packaged in a gift box.

I love this album. I bought it for my late fathers old photos and personalised it with his initials. Thank you so much for such a lovely album, this will be treasured by me and my family.
