The site glass is threaded and can be removed with a large socket 21 mm I believe. Remove the site glass and tilt the compressor toward the drain end.

Yes. However, do NOT buy this unit. Starts blowing capacitors after about a year and Central Pneumatif doesn't carry the replacements. Good luck on finding them at a reasonable price. Go to Home Depot and buy their in-store model. Had it over 2 years and no problems. Hope this helps.
