Bought for cookie frosting for a Bday party. Worked well. Looked pretty.

Dye works well but left a bitter taste

Worked well for its purpose. It didn't work for MY use but I was using it for a use it was not described for so I can't really knock off any stars for that. In case you are wanting it for the same purpose though, I do want to note it did not work to color hair (which some food colors do so it is not as crazy of an idea as you might think). I wanted to use it to temporarily color my hair which I have done with other food colorings. I used all the same methods I have gotten to work before with other colors but it never stuck, not even the tiniest bit. Even putting it directly on my hair for 12 hours it just washed out like nothing.I did also use for some icing though and it worked fine for that which is the intended use so still 5 stars for that.

Would not buy again. Color is true to picture but has a bad aftertaste. It also took the entire bottle to make TWO cakes.

Very easy to use, however I felt like I had to use a lot to get the desired color and it does become bitter tasting if you aren't careful. This is not a gel color.
