Hilarious and Well Designed
It's only a guide to the world if you want to live fast and die young. The pictures are very high quality and accurate.* The photo of a man called James May on page 214 in a speedo may be highly arousing (or triggering trauma) depending on your mental stability. (Clearly someone who is mentally stable will have the second reaction). It is my understanding that the writer of this book is called Richard Porter, but some call him Dick. (Don't worry, I'm not one of those people). This book is full of facts!** It does a great job of summarizing the first season of some internet show called The Grand Tour, but it does much more than that! (Though, it does not perform any tricks or favors). Fans of this show might enjoy this book.Even with that in mind, I feel compelled to give this book five stars simply because there is a photo of a Cinnabar Orange Aston Martin DB11 between pages 94 and 95.Also, pages 1-4 were bent in the corner and slightly torn on my copy. I may have to iron them out while humming a jolly tune just like James May irons his trousers.*Some photoshop assembly required.**And also falsities.

Fun and easy read
Got this for my husband as a last minute Christmas gift. I’ve watched the series and find it amusing and started leafing through after chortling at the introduction. However I can’t finish it because my husband has been reading it during every spare moment and I can’t get my hands on it again!

Wasn't expecting it
I wasn't expecting it to be as thick as it was! I'm looking to buy this again! Great hardcover and the material will make you laugh.

... and on that terrible disappointment ...
Loved the material, but there's far too little of it!Looking forward to an expanded version incorporating Season 3 and more of James's boring factoids.Details of the various conversions the boys subjected their rides to, could probably go into another volume (for hard-core fans with more power tools than sense).Seasons 1 & 2 on Blu-ray won't go amiss either.

Perfect gift for my husband who loves the show
Bought this for my husband’s birthday and he was laughing out loud the entire time he read it. My only complaint was he kept making me stop what I was doing so he could read it to me.

Purchased this as a gift but I ended up reading it myself first and man ... I almost wanted to order a second one for my collection. If you're a fan of old Top Gear and the new Grand Tour, this is a must buy.

The most useful statement in this book is the warning on the ...
The most useful statement in this book is the warning on the back of the cover page stating, "...the advice is idiotic." It mostly consists of small, unlabeled photos from the first series of the Grand Tour with even less informative photos from the second series. The level of humor is sophomoric, for example James May's Match the Star to the Car quiz consisting of six photos of Princess Anne and six photos of cars she has owned. There is what is laughingly called an index and also a list of corrections and mistakes with page numbers that do not match the few pages in the book that are numbered. Followers of the show will recall that Jeremy is fond of giving what he calls consumer advice. If he were to review this book, he would say, "It's worthless. Save you money to buy a Veyron."

It is amusing for fans but the quality of the print on half a dozen pages was very bad: blurry font, bad pictures etc.
