Can the K7 be used to snow foam a car? Also can the detergent bottle be refilled with another detergent?

Yes with the foam lance and as long as it's pressure washer approved.

Are you able to use this with the water supply being from a water but?

I have use daily very powerful jet washers , big frame wheeled diesel ones and in secluded ares with no direct water supply. You can definitely use a water butt. Just make sure the stored water is clean and at a "higher" than the level of the jet washer inlet . We used to use the large rectangular farming vessels cleaned and full of water, wheeled over on a pallet truck to where no water was and in range via a hose of the pressure washer. Works a treat.

What extension hose can I use on a K7 that fits and works probably

Hi - I am using standard Hozelock Tricoflex Ultraflex garden hoses and they work fine. One thing that you need to know is that the Karcher machines all nee d to be able to pass water backwards down the hose. Otherwise it can destroy the compressor in the machine. This is important because most hozelock hoses have non-Return valves (the red ones) on them, which stops water going back down the pipe and allows you to change attachment with out getting soaked! I only found out about this after having blown my previous machines compressor twice and having to have them replaced. The engineer finally told me the problem with non-return valves. I have two long hose systems in my garden. What I have done is to cut a one foot length of hose off and fit the hose itself with a return valve connector (i.e. Grey one). The one foot length has a non return valve connector (Red One) on one end and a male connector on the other. When I use my Karsher I remove the one foot bit and connect the Karcher directly to the hose itself with the Return Valve connector on it, which allows the pressure to return down the hose. I have had no problems since doing this five years ago. You might ask why don't you simply keep the hose with the Return Connector all the time. If you have tried to change spray attachments without turning the water off you will realise why I use this setup. It can be a very long way from the sharp end to the tap on the wall to turn it off!

Can you buy just the empty bottle for cleaning solutions etc? I usually make up my own products. Thanks.

Would not have thought so. But (a) when I bought my K7 it came with a free bottle of 3-in-1 stone cleaner so when used this would give you an empty bottle (b) if free bottle no longer included, you could buy one for around £6-£7 so not a big cost.
