UPDATED REVIEW: I originally received this item and the cover did not fit. I contacted Amazon who forwarded my email to the seller. The seller answered very quickly and originally offered a full refund but I did like the product and wanted to keep it. After I wrote my review they responded again and offered to send the correct cover. I received the correct covert today (within a week and a half, fully resolved!). I did place a board under the first step. The item is not wobbly! It is made from very dense memory foam type material that gives just a bit. It does give the illusion it is wobbly. My 15 pound, very short legged Pomchi was hurting his shins on the hard steps I originally had and once he got used to this, he loves it! It did take a minute for him to get used to something not hard but with coaxing and incentive, got used to it quickly. I like the idea the cover can be taken off to wash and the package also included a hair remover roller. I LOVE this product and the seller was exemplary in taking care of my original issue! Also, my bed is 25 inches from floor to top mattress, the four step is great! He still has to jump a little but it's taller than the hard steps I originally had! .........................Original review: The product came in a very fast manner and was as described. As one other reviewer said, it is a touch wobbly. The reason is because they need to cut a wider bottom on the first step. Easy enough to put a thin board or something sturdy under the first step. So after waiting for it to expand per directions, it came time to put the cover over it. The bottom of the cover does have "paws" with a sticky type material to avoid slipping. Great! HOWEVER the cover they sent with my 4 step does not fit. The bottom is about an inch shy of covering the bottom width. The sides do not come together at all. I could mash it in there I'm sure since it is a dense memory foam type material and that would result in a misshapen blob I'm sure. I could not contact the seller directly, I had to go through the Amazon bot. The stairs do work as described. My little dog is a bit apprehensive but like all new things, training takes time. He did go up them twice with coaxing. I like the concept of the product and once my Pomchi gets used to the newness of it, I'm sure it will be fine. I would like a proper fit cover for it and will update as soon as I hear back from the manufacturer

The media could not be loaded.  Just perfect. My chihuahua puppy not afraid to get on it. Video I posted was very first try. Now she flies over it with the speed of light. She got so excited with it that was playing up and down game for a while. Color is pleasant. Got no scent upon unpacking. Took right shape within 2 hours. Removable cover with pocket on the side. Anti slip is working. Not wobbly. It is also cheaper than similar products out there. Would recommend.

Our new bed is a foot taller than the old one. Our smaller beagle couldn't jump up and had to settle for crawling under it & howling like she had a full moon up her ass.This ramp/steps arrangement was a pain to get together and still wobbles a bit, but the dog loves it and uses it all the time

The foam at the bottom of the stairs on the tall side are short on the corners. This makes the stairs lopsided. When my 12 pounds dog tries to walk up them the shake side to side. If she goes to far to the side that is short they tip over. Do not buy these stairs I have had foam stairs before that were great. Theses are not. They also aren't soild though out the bottom and have a big space at the bottoms. Buy some stairs that don't cover vacuum sealed.

I measured and considered carefully but these steps were just too steep for our two older pups. If each step was deeper from front edge to back, they’d be great The steps were very well constructed, sturdy, and the measurements were accurate. The blue color was just as pictured. The steps inflated very quickly and the cover was easy to put on them. Our dogs, a 13 pound dachshund and a 20 pound Boston terrier mix, are used to using other steps but these were just too steep for them. The steps will not go back into the box once they are ready to use so returning something this large and odd-shaped was just not possible. I’ll find a place to donate them, probably for the kitty room at our local animal shelter.

Although the stairs are sturdy and the entire unit seems well made, the problem is that the cover, once washed, no longer fits. It is worth noting that the cover was washed on a gentle cycle and was air dried. The zipper is flimsy and no longer functions, so the bottom of the cover is just bunched up beneath the unit. You have to be careful that the material is flat to retain the integrity of the steps and to make sure that they don’t wiggle. I would not recommend this product if you ever intend to launder it.

I took a gamble on these and bought 2 sets.Perfect height for my bambino.

Not as steep as standard steps which we also have for our dogs. They prefer to use this product. Be aware that it does have a longer base than regular steps (at least longer than what we’ve purchased in past). Also, did not rate durability as haven’t had it long enough to know how it will withstand daily use. Product is nice looking and easy to keep clean with included lint brush.
