Q: what makes this coffee low acid?

The particular strain of beans, the content of the soil, and the elevation at which the coffee is grown all contribute to this coffee being naturally low acid. We don't do any additional processing to make our coffees low acid.

Q: What is the expiration (roasting) date on these beans?

The expiration date on the bottom of the bag is 6 months from the roast date.

Q: is this coffee kosher?

I have no idea if it is kosher or not, but my husband and I agreed that it was the most delicious coffee we had ever tasted.

Q: Has anyone measured the actual ph of this coffee? most coffees i've used without the "low-acid" label are around 5.1/5.2 ph. what ph is this one?

When I last tested the pH of our Organic Sumatra the result was 5.6 (the higher the pH, the lower the acidity). We don't do any additional processing to the beans to lower the acidity. The pH is a natual result of origin, elevation, and soil.
