Real silk or polyester?

A combination of silk and polyester. I did a burn test on the fiber and it turned into a black shiny ball that was hard to crush. The silk part of the fiber burned into ash. I attempted to plant dye it and it did not take any natural dyes. NOT 100% silk.

Do you make a 1/4” version? The ribbon I received came tied with a 1/4” width ribbon, but I can’t seem to find for purchase

Dear customer, we don't have 1/4" but you can try cut and rip by yourself as shown in the video.

Can the ribbon be torn in 2 to make thinner strips of fabric?

Yes, the ribbon can be cut a few centimeters in the middle and than torn straight down. When doing this it leaves lots of loose threads.
