The Chocolate and Peanut Butter-Chocolate taste great and have great ingredients. The chocolate coating has some unhealthy oil in it (unfortunately), but that's true of most protein bars. Good protein and fiber content. Overall my favorite bar. However, out of the 4 Protein bars that I like, these are the most expensive and they are hard to chew (I don't mind it, but some may). Also, I do not recommend the Raspberry Cheesecake flavor - tastes awful IMHO.

Wanted to try these because i like gregs content and most his supplements are grade A. This was a miss for me though. The taste is not bad. The problem i have with this bar is super chewy and thick, my jaw got a workout chewing this thing. The texture was like hardened sweetened bread with a coat of chocolate. Even microwaving it for a few seconds couldn't save how difficult it is to eat. Its not very sweet, doesn't taste much like a candy bar or a Reese cup, the taste overall is very mild. These bars are super expensive, the issue with that is you can get the salty peanut barebells protein bar for the same price or less, it'll taste better, be more sweet, taste more like a reese peanute butter cup and be a hell of a lot easier to eat. Sorry greg, but this was a one and done for me.

I’ve been buying these bars for a while directly from the Cicobar site. When I saw these on Amazon, I figured I would save money on shipping and order from Amazon. I was disappointed when I tasted them. The taste difference is noticeable. The product I received from Amazon was totally stale, even though the date was current. I don’t know how they are stored, but I’m going to go back to buying from the Cicobar site.

So I was skeptical at first, given some of the reviews on this product, but finally decided to give them a try. I have to say, I didn't find these hard to eat at all. They are chewy but really delicious in my opinion (I tend to like chewy as opposed to crunchy). After giving these a try, I immediately ordered a second box since there was only one more left in stock. They have less fat and less sugar than my old bar, and they taste better, so I'm very happy with Cico. I bought the milky crisp flavor. I haven't tried any of the others yet. I hope HTLT restocks these.

Do not compare to anabar, but a solid bar a little hard to chew but I like it. Way better than most bars only feed bad would wish calories and protein matched up perfect.

The peanut butter cup protein bar specifically is very hard. I cannot bite into it unless it’s microwaved for just 5-8 seconds. Not the biggest issue. The flavor is okay and satisfies chocolate cravings. I did find a speck of mold on one of the bars I purchased a month ago. It was unopened and wasn’t expired until march 2024 so I’m not sure what’s up with that. Maybe I got a bad batch. I might order directly from htlt.

The flavor is really minimal. I went with the chocolate peanut butter cup. Flavor is only hinted at.Now, I don’t know if I just had a bad batch, but this was like eating a brick. It is TOUGH! Maybe it’s supposed to double as a work out for your jaw? At any rate, this is just bad.

Low in calories, high in fiber, 20g protein per bar + great taste! What's not to love? This is my personal favorite protein bar. I've purchased it on many occasions and plan on continuing to do so in the future.
