I have a senior dog who has suddenly began to scarf down his food, I needed a way to slow him down and this did the trick. We have easily slowed down the process and he is no longer inhaling his food and coughing. A great non slip design helps the bowl to not move around when he is eating. I also love the quality of this bowl. It is made of a thick steel and can be easily washed in the dishwasher. This bowl fits 1 cup of small bite kibble!

It does it's job! I had issues with my German Shepard eating her food in large bites and then just swalling the kibble. Once I bought this bowl, it made her slow down and actually chew the kibbles as she is supposed to. The material is thick and very sturdy and it's easy to clean with soap and water. The design looks very nice. The bowl has helped with my dogs healthy eating habits.

This slow feeder bowl was perfect for our Labrador retriever. He always ate so fast but this bowl is perfect for him to eat out of and slows him down so he doesn’t choke. It fits his portion of food just perfectly and the bowl is stainless steel and sturdy so he can’t chew on it like the plastic ones. This bowl was totally worth the price and it makes the perfect functional food bowl for any dog!

Effective for our smaller dog, but not for our larger dog. We have a 9 year old bischon frise (28 lbs) and a 4 year old lagotto romagnolo (36 lbs). This bowl slows the smaller dog down significantly compared to a regular metal dog food bowl. The slow feed bowl probably adds 4-5 minutes to his feeding routine on average, and sometimes he simply gives up on the food for awhile and comes back to it later. He is somewhat lazy in his old age. Our larger dog is not deterred by this bowl in the slightest, and it does not slow down her eating by more than 15 or 20 seconds max. She requires a bowl with deeper sides and more obstacles inside of it placed closer together.The quality of this bowl is good. We ordered "blue" and the bottom rubber piece appears to actually be more of a dark purple color. It isn't a problem for us since that part is always against the floor anyway. We would buy another one if this company made a bowl that was focused towards larger, more food-excited dogs as described above.

This dog bowl works! Our pug eats much too fast and occasionally throws up almost immediately after sucking up her wet food even with a slow-feeder bowl I had. This bowl is working great so far, a different more complicated configuration of blocking bumps. I was worried it would be too deep for a pug face, but it's not, it's working well, making her lick up her food instead of swallowing big chunks.Very sturdy, stays put, easy to clean. I'm very pleased with this bowl.

Got these after our new puppy decided to chew on our older dog’s bowl along with her own. While they aren’t very deep, they do still slow both dogs down just enough that upset tummies aren’t a problem. I like the stay-put ring on the bottom, it’s another little feature that makes me like the overall design. It’s a sturdy bowl & functions well.

I have two dogs and ordered two sizes of these to accommodate each of my dogsBoth bowls fit their food quanty perfectly. One of my dogs was a super fast eater until she got this. It literally sounded like she was a vacuum cleaner. She ate so fast that it gave her bad gas as she would be filling her stomach up with air. Anyway, this makes her have to slow down to eat which is much better for her health, and her gas problem has gone away. I believe it also helps engage the dogs more as they have to work a bit to get their food from around each of the ridges.. I also love that these are non-toxic stainless steel.

Excellent quality and very heavy. This one stays in place and my dog doesn’t slide it across the floor. Has also helped my dog to slow down while eating and chew her food. Easy to keep clean and will last a very long time.
