This book had me wanting to read. The story of Nico and Bella and their love for each other is so sweet. Although they had a love/hate relationship, you knew these two were meant to be.No spoilers but near the end I was saying, oh no poor Bella.Penny certainly knows how to write a good book and I look forward to reading more from her.

This was such a good read! She almost gave me a heart attack but my God woman! Absolutely loved it!!

It was amazing, I struggled to put the book down and A lot of emotions were involved reading this book.

Not as dark as i thought, which was good as defo not in the mood for that.I feel as if I've read this previously.Acquired via KU

I couldn't give this 5 stars because - although the writing is decent - the story was so formulaic, and with some very obvious errors. Spoilers - For e.g. The Earl's home was going to be bulldozed by Nico, this would not be possible because the aristocracy live in listed buildings. And another e.g. Bella was kidnapped, taken from a bathroom - with her bodyguard informed that that is where she was going - and he was in the same building. She was knocked out driven to somewhere private, nearly raped, escaped, knocked out again. Then Nico is ignoring phone calls from the kidnapper while he conducts a meeting before he finally picks up. My question? How long does it take to go to the loo? Why didn't the bodyguard alert Nico. Too much ignoring of reality for the sake of creating exciting dialogue imo! But I know some readers don't care about detail, so if you are that kind of person then this is an ok read.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I totally loved it and read it in one go.I loved Nico & Bella, loved their banter & their story!! Loved the spice, although some scenes could have had a little more detail. Really fell in love with Nico’s character and loved his cheeky humour. Can’t wait to read the next one.

This was good! It eas Hot, spicy, fun and funny. The humour was good and characters interesting.About the story: it was well-written and realistic. The lovestory was fun to read and I liked all the hot scenes. I did read review before I took this book and some of them did write that there was too much hot stuff, but I liked it and this was something that I was waiting for a good book.If you are looking good read, nice lovestory and a hot book, then this is it. Had a good time with this.Ps: Oh and I liked the POVs and that they really talk about things out in the open. It was not draged along and silence thinking. I do not like that kind of books when they just think but do not not talk about it and the story goes boring because all the thinking. This was not that kind of story. Thank you Penny for this good story.

I really loved the story line. This is my first book that I read by Penny Dee and I would definitely recommend it.

This book is great! The main characters remind me of Matteo and Gianna from the book "Bound by Hatred," but without Luca and Aria. Nico and Bella are absolutely amazing. Although I would have preferred more romantic moments, I still loved it just the way it is.

This was a really well time spent sorta read and I couldn’t put the book down.🤌🏻🤌🏻I absolutely loved Nico and Bella they were fire and fire and their love flamed my ❤️. I like how Penny made her characters unique because most Mafia MCs don’t confess easily but this man right here knew it in his heart. Bella is super feisty and will never back down, she kept nico on his toes 😂Love, vengeance, hatred, Power all the emotions were portrayed absolutely beautifully 😍🤌🏻. A must read 🤌🏻🥹.

Ok, so I found this book on a special Christmas list of Adult Romance Indie writers. So glad I did.I've read ALOT of Mafia books; it's one of my favourite adult romance tropes.Penny did a great job at introducing us to each character with background and description. She gave us a great plot to follow, very clear and obvious in what you thought.But WHOA!! Talk about plot twists and turns. I was devasted and hooked.Where I thought something would happen. Yeah it would happen but whether it was the result or the event was different to what I thought.Where I thought the book would finish with a HEA. Nope Penny just had another bomb to throw at us readers to devastate our book life.I won't give away any spoilers (I hope) but you will feel love, hate, anger for both Bella & Nico. You will get to see their love grow, blow up, die and then be restored.I enjoyed almost everything about this book. The only thing I would've loved to see (and its only because I like to see a strong alpha-hole humble to his knees) is a scene with Bella heavily pregnant and Nico worship her body and the after-the-birth insecurity of stretch marks etc.For me it always enhances and deepens the vision that us as readers has created with that character.But that's my little 'thing'.Otherwise, one of the few books I've read that has perfect editing, perfect storyline and development of characters ensuring that we follow on with the Series. But also you can just stop here. There are no open questions or things you need to read in the next book.Nico & Bella's story is here and that's all.
